    The point of that offhand is to help support a niche WD spec, just like the Barb weapon supports ranged barb spec and the Wizard weapon supports melee wizards, it's not supposed to be good for the majority of WDs.

    It's a bad guide b/c despite what he says, you will not be able to get through all 4 acts with this build. Since I clear Act III i can focus on the problems with the build in Act III. I'd love to see your Cydaea kills and Ghom kills post-patch with this build. Also, many times in Act III you do not get a nice kiting circle, specifically down in the towers and core. What do you do when you get a phase beast pack in the core and have to double back? Do you just log out and reset? Hope that you don't get any vortex, or teleporter, fast, or invunerable minions that can't be slowed by blizzard. Granted it'll work when you have 60k+ dps and can burn down the elites within 15-20 seconds, but new wizards trying to progress through act 3 are going to have a very high repair bill using this build. Like others have said, swap out the damage boosts for crystal shell and fracture, and force armor is a must.
