hope it stays down till they fix the #@(% server lag.
Would've liked a warning either way... but yeah. I've been itching to do Rifts on Hardcore and just can't justify the danger. Did a rift last night and got Zultaan Kuul guardian... midfight, I get a 3+ second spike, and when I'm back, my health has dropped by nearly half because I've been sitting in 2 tornadoes, not attacking or regenning.

Blizzard's customer service and public relations has been seriously lacking as of late. Almost feel like since they did a good job with the majority of RoS, they can get away with whatever they want.

And, unfortunately, they're right. For the sheeple love to throw their money at them.
Sheeple! It'd been a full 3 hours since I'd read a post with that. Better go reset the clock.

It's down for myself as well and a friend. Friend is from Canada (around Toronto) and I'm from California, safe to say it's happened to everybody.

Oho! I stand corrected. Too bad it's a weapon just as unlikely to be used due to being a 1h weapon. :(

My problem is definitely that Fire is strong not simply because it has all the strong runes, but because with Cindercoat and Magefist, as well as really good +Fire weapons both 1h and 2h for Maximus, you can push your Fire bonus MUCH higher than you can with other damage types.

More build diversity would be had with more elemental options in various gear slots.
Eh I'd say other gear sets are pretty close if not even with the +20spell dmg bonuses. Fire might be the only one one that has a chest otherwise most other pieces are even.
Cold has Frostburn, but lightning, poison, physical and holy have nothing for the slot, and nothing but fire has a chest slot. Fire has more weapon options than anything as well, and holy has nothing but a 1h flail. Cold has only Azurewrath and Utah's Roar. Poison has nothing at all, not even among ceremonial knives. Physical in particular has nothing in any slots other than Doombringer as a 1h, I believe.

Bonus elemental stacking is one of the most potent dps stats you can have for many builds.

posted a message on LAG on blizz server is just out of control now
It's a different issue from what you're getting, but the past two days pretty much every single person in my clan (and we're from all over, with all different providers) have been getting random 1 to 3 second lag spikes. It's made hardcore essentially impossible to do, other than low difficulty bounty farming... and really, I have 1000 rift shards at the moment, I don't really want to do more bounties right now.

It's a bug that has yet to be fixed. Blizz is still silent. Keep rolling the % damage until you get a socket anyways; that is what you want, even if the %damage was working correctly.
Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry forgot to mention, I do have a socket.

Base damage seems very low so I feel like that's hurting me. Maybe I should roll the % Damage to IAS? I'm more than likely going to be running MM-Conflag build since I got a decent Mirrorball.
Didn't actually realize TF always comes with a socket! IAS would probably be a good choice, at least until Blizz gets around to actually fixing this ancient bug.

really that awesome? As a caster it would interrupt my casting to pick up a health globe ...
For a caster like a wizard you prefers to stand and nuke, and honestly generates their resource quite quickly, they aren't as strong.

But for, say, a Crusader, who generates wrath at a painfully slow pace usually, it can be extremely powerful.

I'd try and get Aughild's in there over Cain's, if possible. 15% elite damage is quite strong, probably stronger than 8% AS. Consider that MF works at a hugely reduced rate for Legendary finding, so killing the thing that drops legendaries 15% faster probably works out stronger than the tiny % increase to legendary finding you get from the 50% MF. So that could be... shoulder/bracer Augh, Pants/Am Blackthorn (good luck rolling a strong ammy though, belt could work here but belt slot works best with Harrington's or Witching Hour tbh) Boot/OH/Chest Zuni in that case. That leaves room for an SoJ in there for ring slot, too.

    That's my take!

there is difference between nerfing and having one of the most op weapons there is... you can trigger the explosion like 10 times each explosion is around 20m dmg it comes up to 200m damage its insane but yeah if it will be 3-4 explosion or 3 explosion not mob depended would make the weapon ok and not op
The AoE never hit a single mob more than two times. If it did I would have been able to one-shot Rift Guardians surrounded by mobs with mine, and that never happened. This was a pretty needless nerf.
what? you never hit with condemn the same target twice? i shield charge into 5x packs the explosion hits 3-4 times the same target because i taunt them to me...
Yeah, they'd all blow up but you weren't actually doing 5-10x damage to one target. But every target was taking double condemn damage at the very least, so this is still a humongous nerf, and a really unwarrented one at that. :/ There's so few options for good 2h weapons as it is.

the weapon needs to be nerfed thats true but this nerf is too much if it will do 3-4 explosion will be ok but yeah to be honest when you explode up 10 mobs one after another its pretty op

i would prefer to make condemn explode 3x times always instead of mob relaying on mobs so you can rape rift bosses
Nothing about Crusader weapons needs to be nerfed. As far as viable endgame choices go for Crusader weapons, there are very few. We can only choose from 2h weapons realistically, and of those only a select few are realistically viable. Nerfing one of the good ones isn't the right choice, the crappy ones need to be buffed. Yeah there's Gryfalcon's Foote and Thunderfury, but 2 1-handers does not for variety make.

Jeeeeez. I guess I feel a little less bad about losing my BoP on my previous Hardcore Crusader now. :/ That's idiotic, why nerf one of small pool of viable weapons available to Crusaders?
