As for grenades, if you use the rune that increases hatred generation, along with the grenadier passive, you can refill your hatred in about 2 seconds with fast enough attack speed and the bat companion. Damage is not reliable but you have an INCREDIBLE hatred generator. Try pairing with multishot or cluster to take advantage of rapid hatred regen.
