I made a suport WD yesterday and noticed some weird behaviour on reflect damage packs. It felt that even tho I was keeping my horrify up mobs would sometimes activate their reflect damag affix when I was trying to use mass confusion. If I didnt bother with mass confusion they never casted it. Any of you guys has experience with this behaviour? I want to use confusion for the 20% damage boost but if theres a risk of reflect activating its obviously not worth it on reflect packs.

This exploit did affect me quite a bit. Was doing some random t6 split farms yesterday and saw a monk at level 474 while I was 386. He literally didnt even have his sunwuku set completed yet and was basically running around in gear I had when I was paragon 100. When I checked his time played it was 1/3th of the time I spend on my character.
There is no way he didnt exploit, and its annoying the hell out of me that they're just running around enjoying the game while nothing gets done.
It's really doable to achieve top 10 on the leaderboards while having a job. I work 36-40 hours a week, raid in wow 2 days a week and still managed to get insane gear and para 400+. its all about setting priorities and playing in good groups to run t6 rifts extremely fast. Sure if its job>kids/family>friends>sports>random television show>diablo priority wise then you wont be able to compete. But job>diablo is completely doable. This season even started on friday evening so anyone with a job could have raced for first 70/first greater 30/first malthael kill, these were all achieved during the first weekend.

I happen to have both items and I was wondering what skills I'm supposed to use with them because his default skills dont work. Switch crippling wave rune to the frost rune and use thunderfury procs to proc wyrdward?
Well, you say that for GR35+ it might be a different story. The problem is GR35+ is the only thing that matters. T6 is completely insignificant, we faceroll throughit with our eyes closed after just 5 days of this season, even splitfarming T6 bounties,why would you want to optimise your build for that?. We came just 3 minutes short in GR38 yesterday, and thats 5 days after seasons have been released. I was forced to go inner sanctum+40% hp mystic ally+harmony to survive(which completely ruined my dps build up to a level where I could aswell be doing 0 dps, doing around 5x less then our firebird wizzard/maurader dh) and I just cant see a full dps oriented sunwuku monk survive in there, and I cant think of a setup that would offer enough survivability for GR40+ while still being able to provide dps thats significant enough compared to the output of firebird/maurader, or even charge barb. On the subject of that GR47 monk using rimeheart, I just checked his profile and he's using bjorn+sledgefist with 140k sheet damage. No way he's doing any damage. So to restate my question. Is the endgame build for monks in group play 0dps, or can you guys imagine a dps build to be viable in the endgame. Because thats where I want to spend my resources (which are limited because of seasons).

I feel however the standard sunwuko build isn't really viable in 4-player group play (sweeping wind/mantra spam). My friends have asked me to incorporate cyclone strike in my build. So I've switched sweeping wind for cyclone strike. However the amount of damage I do compared to them (maurader dh, firebird wizzard and raekor charge barb) seems so low that my dps build feels a bit pointless and I might aswell drop my sunwuko and go full tank/stun/buff monk.
Do you guys believe in a 4-man party a dps monk can compete with firebird/maurader/raekor? Is a dps monk in any way viable in high level greater rifts (36+) in a group and what build would you suggest? Or is going full tank the only option with cyclone strike?
For me seasons were the perfect opportunity to start a new class (I only have a witch doctor on live). I started fresh with a new monk with 3 friends who also rerolled a class they didnt play before and we're having a great time. Also being able to rape t6 and complete 30+ greater rifts after 3 days of playing feels great I'm having a lot of fun, thats for sure!

So far I got 5 zunimassi offhands, 3 helms, 3 boots, 1 ring and 0 chests. Also 5 jade harvester chests, 4 shoulders, 3 helms, 2 legs, 0 boots, 0 gloves.
Its incredibly frustrating that I havnt completed a single set yet. while I found a total of 12 zunimassi pieces and 14 jade harvester pieces.

This math seems flawed. Shoudnt it be .5*1 + .5*4.75 = 2.875. 1 is your base hit, but when you crit you dont do your base hit, you only do your crit hit. With your formula, 50% crit chance and 0% crit damage you would end up with: 1+.5*1.5=1.75 damage, which makes no sense considering your crits are only 1.5 damage to begin with. I'm aware fetishes dont benefit from +crit damage. So I'm ignoring this stat on my gear. I'm also going for attack speed on all my items. However I wonder what to choose for if I can choose between +damage on necks/rings or +crit chance.
You cannot roll fire bat damage on a chest. You can only roll firebat damage on boots, helm, and mojo.
You also cannot reroll to all resist because you allready have a secondary resist (fire).
This leaves only 2 options:1) Reroll regen to vit2) Reroll piranha to vit
In most builds piranhas really arnt a significant part of your damage. But life regen isnt that great either (but not completely useless like some people are trying to make you think). The choice is a close call, either option is fine.

Screenshot or it didnt happen, simple. +experience on a lvl 61 item doesnt exist, simple. When you claim something that theoretically does not exist at least provide proof, if you dont we can all continue or day assuming you lied, nothing hostile about that.

Crit chance isnt that great because pets crits only deal 150% damage. So I'm not sure if +damage would be better for them? For reference, my gear is:
