Bring back Invulnerable Minions! Used to have fits with my Monk way back when against those Act 2 hornets with Invulnerable Minions and Reflect Damage/Shielding/Arcane/Whatever. That was very hard, which made it fun.
But yeah, more and tougher affixes, but bring on some positive affix, maybe as a bonus 5th affix.

Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru EikuraQuote from vidrithI would like they made attack speed more valuable to us. To not only showing increased paper dps but to actually work and increase our dps without us going oom in 3 sec.
Attack speed is nice when you use it with skills that benefit from it, such as Ghost Bomb. I have, between different equipment, 2.39 or 2.47 attack speed and If I can get more I will. And I also use Bears from time to time. Yes oom fast, but thats expected.
I like this dual mojo'ing idea. Would have to be reworked a bit but seems doable and reasonable.

Those are some clever ideas. I haven't any to add though... too tired to think!Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

In-game its a hell of an aura.... if this is the case, then the matter is settled. d3up.com kinda screwed me lolPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Dunno if this is actually accurate, but I just bought this sword that has no elemental damage. d3up.com had it pegged as a 7k+ dps upgrade over my EF. When I equipped it, I noticed a 1.8k upgrade, and then realized the graphics on it. I have a couple of %elemental damage equipment so a black weapon should be effective.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
So, hidden elemental damage or what?

When you say 'sickest', I, for one, expect it to be outrageously good.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
That's pretty awful nevertheless

Gear kinda depends on what build you want.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
For instance, I go with high attack speed (2.47) so I don't need much crit, I have barely 30% chc. I mainly use Ghost Bomb and can switch around everything else the way I feel like it.
Other people go for high crit and don't need attack speed due to burst builds that rely on heavy hitting with big mana spenders, such as Acid Rain, Zombie Bears and the like.
To be able to be effective with any build, you need to balance everything. I'll give you an example of priority: Int = CHC > CHD = IAS > Vit = All Res > Armor. Just an example, mind you.
I recommend first off getting an Echoing Fury. You can find cheap ones with high intel, just no socket or crit damage. But its fine for now, you just need to bump up your dps to get things going. Mempos are very very cheap nowadays.
Also, you can upgrade your gloves very cheaply with decent Int, vit, low crit chance, crit damage gloves.
Other than that, zuni boots aren't very expensive as well. Your rings need serious upgrades as well... decent ones with +damage, int, chc and/or attack speed are also cheap.
Check out the forums and other peoples armories to get a glimpse of what people are using. diabloprogress.com is another benchmarking tool that you can put to good use.

At first I thougt 'been there, done that'. I've tried a ton of different builds, But you get used to playing a certain way and don't realize the potential of certain skills. Like Severance. SW to me is all about movement (Jaunt), healing (Healing Journey) or mana regen (Honored Spirit). I've never even thought about staying on top of a mob to get full damage from Severance. Umbral Shock I've tried and tested many times over.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
Keep up the good work dude. Love trying out weird builds.

The honest answer to that question should be 'all of them'. Auction House is in now way mandatory, it just speeds things up.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
BUT, WDs are the easiest class to go undergeared. I finished Inferno with mine with very low stats, relying on pets and ranged skills.
In order, without AH: WD, Kiting Wizard, Tank Barb, MoE/Backlash Monk, whatever DH
