Hey guys. I'm currently a level 33 DH sitting at Nightmare Act 1, just a bit after the Skeleton King. I had a few questions regarding my build as a levelling Demon Hunter.
I use Bola Shot because I feel like its vital to have decent single target damage especially on elites/champions/bosses. I tend to play in larger groups (3-4) and so, I don't feel like I need a lot of AoE from abilities such as grenades.
I picked Rapid Fire because it does a ton of damage for me and its just awesome against bosses/elites.
Caltrops I feel is just a must for survivability and keeping things in check whether I'm alone or in a group.
Vault is pretty much awesome and has saved my life so many times. Smoke Screen I feel is pretty useful when I'm going to get a big pull or I need an aggro reset. Elemental Arrow w/ lightning ball feels insane, it practically clears rooms for me and barely costs any hatred at all.
I don't use preparation because I feel like the other choices are better and I've never faced a situation yet where I didn't have enough discipline and that cost me my life.
I'm hoping to get some feedback about my ideas and build, perhaps get some advice on what is better or what do I need that I'm not using. I mainly play in groups like I said, as I don't really like having to solo things.
Any constructive help would be awesome, avoid "lol u r da nubs lolololol y u no haz prep"
