    I'm not saying that things arent random. What I am saying is that there should be something along the lines of a timeplayed counter, which, for example, every hour that the player is playing and they dont see a legendary drop, the chance of a legendary drop goes up by like... .5% or something. That way if a person plays for 20 hours, which is a SOLID weekend of gaming, their legendary drop % chance would be up to 10% making it very possible that in a given 20 hours of play time you'd see a legendary.

    Obviously numbers could be tweaked up and down to balance it, but a STRAIGHT RNG can be way to demoralizing if you're on the bottom side of it

    p.s. I dont mean a BIS bow or anything, I just mean a legendary of upper level. Seeing them, or possibly having the salvage would add a fun layer of loot.

    i wish they did that for the mega millions. ok, maybe not a bis lottery, how about pick 4? i could use a few g's.

Still, I would like to think there is something to the idea that there is a greater chance of getting Legendary items when you start at the begining of Act III but I know I am just illustrating wishful thinking. lol

    I can debunk the start a full act run yeilds better loot. My previous comment about 4 legendaies in 3 days, 1 was off my first rare champ pack with in minutes of playing. i start with the kill azmo quest and go to fields.

    Level 10 means that you get 30% more mf. It's not much, right? So why do you expect to get legendaries?

    I'm not talking about the %mf bonus from paragon affecting the drop rate per-say. I'm talking about how many hours I've put in grinding to level 10, and with that time, even with NO mf, I would hope to have gotten at least 1.

    Day 1 on release i found my first legendary in a1 norm. Zero MF. The next time i found a legendary was after having 200-250 hours played later with around 50 MF. After 1.04 with just under 300 MF i found 4 legendaries, 2 of which were set boots in 3 days. Did 4 A3 runs over the days. It is all random.

    what was your overall mf? im confused about why people post about their paragon levels and expect these drops to suddenly appear as if it supposed to guarentee them legendaries. if your mf only comes from nv and pLvl, then you still have very low mf and your chances are still very slim even with 105% mf.

    just got home and check, mine has 288 vit. crazy amount. the lowest one on the AH with vit is 11.5 mil with 108 vit. mine is actually the highest vit sunkeeper. now i have quite the decision to make.

    Thats a lot more than i though it would be worth. I found it last night and logged off with out checking the AH to see what they sell for. I'm at work now so i figured i toss it out there and get some info on it. Giving it to a follower didnt even cross my mind too haha. At least it's worth something.

    had one of these drop for me yesterday. has 45% mf (perfect) and 10% dam to elites (perfect) but low dps in 800's. also has strength and vitality both in the 200's, some what makes up for the crappy dps roll. do people even want these things?

    Ancient path goblin removed, pretty much confirmed. I ran it 30+ times and didn't see one. Before my longest stretch w/o a goblin was 12. RNG is RNG, but other are reporting this as well on the main forums. How hard is it to add "and Ancient Path" to the patch notes instead of making us find out the hard way?

    This is a known side-effect of Blizzard's client/server architecture. The patch notes we get are primarily client patch notes, so client-affecting changes have a very straightfoward route to the notes, but things like monster and chest spawn locations are purely server-side changes, so the path by which they reach the patch notes is a bit more convoluted, and they sometimes get lost. IMO Blizzard should just have a separate blog or thread somewhere to keep us informed about server-side changes... and/or improve their processes, of course :)

    you will have to go to plvl 7 to make your mf start becoming useless... and with out youre templar you need to get to plvl 16. youll get some use out of them.

I imagine it will take about 30-45 hours TOPS to get to level 100 Paragon. Which is obtainable easily in less than a week.     What nerfs are you talking about? As far as I can see, there are no real nerfs discussed. Nothing that didn't need to be changed since the game's release anyway.
    • Monster health will now be a flat increase of 75% health (per player), regardless of the difficulty in multiplayer.
    • No more enrage timers on elites.
    • Elites will no longer heal to full health
    • They are adjusting fire chains and shielding, and REMOVING Invulnerable Minions
    All of those are nerfs. I dont know why they are making it a 75% hp buff per player. thats a HUGE nerf. Playing with 2 ior more people will be way easier that it was now. They should just make it 100%...

    I don't have or know exact numbers on data usage, but games typically don't load up the bandwidth usage. I'd love to have your connection. My DSL is only 1.5mb down and I rarely see anything under 100ms when I play D3, but am sub-30ms for other games like WoW, etc.

    Edit- For some reason, I could have sworn you said that your current connection speed is 8mbit. 1mbit is a bit low when the servers are so far away. I'd try the 3G.


    How can you say that an upload speed would granta low ping. I have 50up 10 down and therefore i should have <20? To bad i never get below 100ms while playing this game ever.

    So his ultimate plan was to send all the other evils back to hell and be the only evil on sanctuary? With the defeat of Diablo at the end all 7 evils would then go back to hell, but you claim only 6. This is then assuming that A2 Belial wasnt really Belial at all, correct? We do see him get added to the black soulstone after all. Im just a bit confused at the end and what his "ultimate plan" is.
