Sorry bro! Those slashers hit HAAAAARD. I was later on in the act and left game to trade something to a friend. I came back, and didn't notice my frost armor was gone (apparently it drops when you leave games). Teleported to where I had been previously, and a yellow one + a couple of his friends were there to greet me. Needless to say, It was a bit panicky getting jailed and having one slash me for half my health.
If I decide to go back to keep farming up, it definitely won't be to that section
I just entered Nightmare/act 3 with nearly 0 resist gear. I'm not sure when the +all resist gear is suppose to start dropping but until it does, stacking individual resists is stinky, as well as near impossible for more than 1-2 different types. Hopefully soon, the meteor special bosses were absolutely brutal with 22% fire resist, and those're also the only things that even came close to killing me. (So if I had to pick just one -- it'd be fire.)
