You still want the holy trinity strength, vita, all resist on all your pieces just like tanks (so no fallen eats youa live) but add more offensive stats while tanks look for even more defense (armor, physical resist, % damage reduction, etc)

what tanks look for more dmg reduction? X_X i've been gearing up to do more dps to finish a3 / a4 inferno as a "tank"

gear farm it? idk what you are talking about as its a breeze after you farm some gear.

The issue with Whirlwind is the most efficient builds use revenge spam to stay up / dps along with either frenzy or cleave. I tried it with my 1hander / shield but it seems to suck unless you have a good dps weapon / some leech i guess. I am pretty sure its viable, just plan on dieing alot.
my personal preference since i sword and board is just a tank build with wrath to fight elite packs for solo, in group play i take out wrath for taunt shout. (working on A2 inferno atm)

both are pretty efficient, my gear is fairly bad and i can kill almost any elite packs as long as you play smart (getting out of desecrates, arcane orbs ect)

the derpage.. =S WoW has been a joke since forever, shoo wannabe elitist and go get carried in some raids its not like any of them are difficult nor ever will be again. It was a good game in vanilla and BC.. after that its pretty much been garbage.

ehh this really comes down to the same old arguement that you get with fps on pc/console..obviously keyboard and mouse will always have an edge but do w/e is comfortable for you s'all good play how you like on a game that is supposed to be enjoyable
