The only reason it was the best selling game was because people were waiting for a sequel for many years. It doesn't mean the game was good. It was only until a week (or less) after it's release that people realized this and were pissed.

Played a hell of a lot of D2 (think I had 30ish toons) and I find it hard to think of a single respect in which D3 is not superior. You're welcome to your opinion but don't presume to speak for everyone.

Heh, not the best example - the Rogue legendaries are horrible, they draw even with No'Kaled for Combat. I have a pair, got them server first... only thing I really like about them are the wings
I guarentee I played Diablo 2 more than most people on this forum. There is no way to prove it, but I devoted a huge chunk of my life to it and this new piece of crap is far less superior. It's shinier, that's about it. It's just not Diablo anymore and it's such a shame. They can't please everyone though. I just sure wish they could of pleased me. -

By the way, you must have a condition, because if you enjoyed the first two games, how on Earth can you enjoy the third? I am so confused! Any sensible Diablo fan knows this third game is an abomination to the franchise!

I do know who your "we" is, but I believe my "we" far surpasses yours. Mine are the one's who matter. At least we are trying to make the game fun for EVERYONE (old Diablo fans mostly) and not just the WoW players who tried D3 and love it, because that's basically the only ones who play the game now.
Unfortunately, it would to take a looooong time for it to be as great at Diablo 2 ever was, and I don't think it ever will.

No, I don't even play it anymore. The game was too terrible of a comparison to the second that I didn't care to play it after the first week. Even my signature basically states that. I just come on here to laugh and see if the game has gotten any better and... nope... still hasn't. Just saying*

Hell, I didn't even mess around on forums for a while when playing WoW or D2. I just played to play. If someone else got world first and didn't post anything about it, they would of been the kind of person I was back in the good old days.
