Heh, well, I'm a girl and I was better than my boyfriend when I bothered to make the time for one << quickly grew old mind you. My life lies with my nerdy side and that lies with my PC and it will NOT play second fiddle! And yeah, sounds shallow, but was my choice. Men = effort. PC = fun.
Honestly...I don't give a damn whether I start to play three days, three minutes or three hours after another country. I just want to play it - no more, no less. Who cares? Seriously guys... you're bitching so much about the minor details that you fail to see the big picture and if you're going to ask me what it is I have proven my point.
IS it just me or is this a bit 'effy'. Mainly the 'make a new character to play on a different server'. I don't give a crap about not being able to use the RHAH on another server, but new character?

I don't know if this is the norm for other online games, but those I play your character hops the border with you, regardless of where you wish to go server wise.
What if there are 'global' tournaments or anything of the sort? You can't transfer gear, you can't use your character, so what's the point of having a main if you need one on each server?
Don't turn sour immediately. This might not even happen. Watch and see! The biggest problem for them would most likely be that Asia cannot use the RMAH outside of the Asia server. That is already a huge anti-farm measure. So take a chill pill, sit back and wait and see.

Listened for about a minute then stopped it - sounds amazing. However, 10 hours? No way I can get that. Have a 10gig cap limit per month and I am pretty sure it won't be enough once I start playing Diablo 3 and everything else I plan to do next month.
Defeat X boss in inferno without wearing Y peice(s) of gear (Example: Kill King Leoric without wearing boots)

Lol, both would be funny. However, no one is going to want to die or remember to take their boots off if they're about to - usually not a planned thing and it would also be an achievements that the HC chars will never be able to get.
Achievements I'd like to see is almost everything listed above.
Maybe also some timed ones? Like finish normal in XX time or whatnot. Basically things you can aim for once you got a proper grip on the game and start a new character.
I want something to work for, but not something that will be 'exclusive', unless HC character wise or character specific. But not something someone will need the CE for or the use of the auction house.
It has to be achievable by anyone who JUST bought the game, no CE, and should not be dependent on things like the auction house.
I have the CE and I intend to sell on the auction house - but achievements shouldn't be based around either.
