I have a few 44%+ MF sunkeepers a level 25 goldwrap belt with 10% mf. Some legacy cains sets and other misc stuff. I'm looking for a legacy homunculus with 20s off zombie dog cd, a legacy maras kaleidoscope with 6-8s off zdog and a skull grasp with 6-8s off.
There is always going to be haters when it comes to any aspect of anything, including the PvE vs PvP war in online games.
Will the game go as far as an Esport?
It could, but the game won't be balanced. If they can get it close to WoW's arena balance during TBC then that's good enough.
It really comes down to how profitable it is for Blizzard to balance the game around PvP and then how profitable it will be to include D3 PvP in leagues and tournaments.
Blizzard will get more money via RMAH transactions from a hardcore PvP base.
It is all about money which essentially comes down to population numbers.
If a certain number of people want it bad then you have to remember there will always be a savvy guy in a suit that will make it happen for the right price!
Yeah I'd have to say hitboxes that big is just poor on Blizzard's part. The hitboxes should be a bit bigger than the monster portraits, but that is just plain dumb.
I'm not worried, they'll change it eventually. They have a lot of issues to get around to, but I'm surprised they missed this one.
A lot of people say they are committed to only one class. They may think that now, but I expect a lot of people to "give in" and play around with a few classes, if not every class. The classes are just too evenly developed. They all have appealing aspects. That's the beauty of Blizzard focusing on just 5x options.
I think the most OP Diablo 3 class will have a major influence on players once the information becomes the population's consensus. I'm sure that expectations and people's projections will change over time, according to updates and items/build combinations. The term flavor of the month/patch will probably become overused like in WoW.
I know I'll be playing each and every class, it's just a matter of when.
Awesome - I was expecting and waiting for this one. If it's a primitive version of what you want it to be well... you can look at how WoW's character viewing screen/inspect has evolved over time to be what it is today. I'm optimistic about this.
The relationship between the value of gold and magic-find will change as time goes on. Gold-find will be more valuable early since gold will be easier to farm than gear before people are geared up and that the fact that the value of gold vs real money will inevitably drop as the supply of gold goes up over time. There really isn't just a magic ratio Blizzard could pick that would perfectly describe the relationship between the two.
This. People will eventually release charts for magic find based on specific runs and compiled data over significant amount of runs/kills to determine which thresholds are worth reaching. At some point you are giving up valuable statistics if you put on heavy MF gear. Probability and efficiency is everything.
What I don't miss:
Lag from too many spawns
These elite ghost mobs in Act 5 near Baal in hell that had immune to specific resistances, were invisible, moved fast and could 1-2 shot me
Ridiculous amount of scams and hacks
The inability to remove stats after you placed them - (misclick = reroll toon)
What I'll miss is:
Cows
Act 1 PvP
Ginormous summoning armies
Faster Cast Rate, Faster Hit Recovery
Enigma/Sorc constant teleport

I know PvP isn't included at release, but the Demon Hunter looks pretty promising. The whole playstyle just seems to suit dedicated PvPers.
