This is a "reach out and touch" a mob character designed for both ranged attacks in multi-player and single player. Designed to kill enemies from afar, this demon hunter was given skills which enable her to attack from a distance and to keep her distance from the fight. She's also built to keep high discipline and hatred while fighting so she won't have to get close and use one of her weapons in hand-to-hand combat. With Thrill of the Hunt enabled, she's able to continually change her position in and around a group of enemies and at lvl 21 the Sentry can do damage while she repositions herself for another volley of Chakrams.
From what I had heard.. The announcement for the release will be from twitter.. I would say, since jay said "near future", we are looking at the next few weeks we will get an announcement on the release date. Early March honestly.
And if early March is the announcement then I would think the game will be in our hand by late April- Mid May.
Of course you never know with Blizzard but typically after the announcement they give us a month or 2 to sweat it out.
