Okay this is a strange topic, but what about a Diablo 3 Ladder? Obviously there is a lot about D3 that is different from D2, particularly having to always be online but would there be any incentive to have a ladder that gets periodically wiped? The D2 ladder was so great to see how crazy of a player you are compared to other people. The fact that it got wiped always meant a new chance to play hard again.
Since D3 is always online i'm sure there will be a way to see regional and world wide leaders in some fashion or another. Or is that even a feature? I kind of do not know. Feel free to educate me if you know the answer. But what if you could have a character be part of the ladder knowing that it could get wiped periodically?
