Just so people are aware marketing also known as scamming works best when multiple people up-sell each other and basically deify another entity several people making positive comments to the point where a threshold of curiosity and reasonable doubt/trust is reached
They very well can all be the same people or just colluding for kickbacks.
Somewhere it's openly observable is the entertainment industry as much as they release regurgitated plots with different actors every magazine gushs over these people and deifies them as it requires these people to interview, the reviews are absolute suck ups released or paid for by the marketing department for the production company themself or interdependent on each other retaining their demographic this is what we call a conspiracy, but that word has been made scary by these masters of popular opinion.
The hype is what press/media/entertainment industry itself defines and it stands as the perceived popular opinion as these groups have more facetime with the majority then many have with each other.

Destructodave82 yeah some people will pay a lot, but they won't stop paying a lot as they will come in and want to be beasts for as long as they are in, if they then feel fulfilled they may drop off only to return and throw cash around some more.
Those that will do anything to get ahead in anything will have the cash to splash and will again apply their desire to dominate in game.
Their ego can't stand not being the greatest at everything and they don't have this insane limiting factor some do in that buying things cheapens the dominance, no sir, the dominance is the point in itself they'll throw away thousands a day on crappy browser based games gambling with Kcoins to be dominant in something like Clash of Kingdoms on facebook that little step up in gear they can get is worth ridiculously more then their equipped gear to them, it's a must have.

Yes the starter gear will have decreased in value over time but your not going to stay in starterville to wait for them, your up ahead in wherever you can smash grab best.
The problem you will have is when you and your crew just aren't capable enough to pocket gear well in end game and package that up competitively.
It doesn't matter when you throw up the best loot it just has to be the best loot available to these types and your set.

I think your very correct in selling off things that would be slight upgrades, keeping the seconds that you can get it done in and offloading on the maxers what they are after.

I REALLY hope they keep the 1.50 listing, I don't want to see the RMAH flooded with 25 cent listings.
why would people list things for 25c when they have 10 items to list?

This is a relatively great guide for how things currently are in the beta. However, I'm not entirely sure how things will pan out in retail.

Right now people are generous with their money on the RMAH because it's beta bucks and well, it's not real. Right now people are lenient at selling items for low gold amounts because again, it's just in-game currency. However, come retail, people won't be spending that way anymore because now real money is introduced into the equation. This holds true for both the RMAH and the GAH. Why? Because now people can sell Gold for real money as well, so Gold is essentially a real currency with an exchange rate.

It's a great guide for the beta. Come release, I'm curious if it still plays out the way it has been.
The OP is a con-man it's blatant in every post he makes.
"new way of thinking" "their brains don't change" because only by listening to this bloke you learn the most obvious brain dead stuff and that some how gives you a new way of thinking for a nice fee. It's NLP advertising by suggesting with absolute confidence.
Bottom feeders rule the world these days with the exposure of the internet they do it by giving the perception of being absolutely confident.
He's even doing youtubes trying to sell his rubbish with forced emotive excitement and buzz words.

It's unfortunate that people are stupid enough to think someone with secrets would actually make their job of playing the market more difficult by teaching you to compete with them.
They will however teach you how to do things they can benefit from and how to send them money.
