Somewhere it's openly observable is the entertainment industry as much as they release regurgitated plots with different actors every magazine gushs over these people and deifies them as it requires these people to interview, the reviews are absolute suck ups released or paid for by the marketing department for the production company themself or interdependent on each other retaining their demographic this is what we call a conspiracy, but that word has been made scary by these masters of popular opinion.

Yes the starter gear will have decreased in value over time but your not going to stay in starterville to wait for them, your up ahead in wherever you can smash grab best.
The problem you will have is when you and your crew just aren't capable enough to pocket gear well in end game and package that up competitively.
It doesn't matter when you throw up the best loot it just has to be the best loot available to these types and your set.
I think your very correct in selling off things that would be slight upgrades, keeping the seconds that you can get it done in and offloading on the maxers what they are after.
This is a relatively great guide for how things currently are in the beta. However, I'm not entirely sure how things will pan out in retail.
Right now people are generous with their money on the RMAH because it's beta bucks and well, it's not real. Right now people are lenient at selling items for low gold amounts because again, it's just in-game currency. However, come retail, people won't be spending that way anymore because now real money is introduced into the equation. This holds true for both the RMAH and the GAH. Why? Because now people can sell Gold for real money as well, so Gold is essentially a real currency with an exchange rate.
It's a great guide for the beta. Come release, I'm curious if it still plays out the way it has been.
