I would say the odds are slim to none that they will release a patch for pvp in the beta. After playing it at Blizzcon I am really looking forward to it but I doubt we'll get to see it in the beta.
I will actually miss the 8 player games, yeah they were kind of a mess at times but it was nice when leveling early on to have so many people help out. Later on they became awesome too for Baal runs and what not.
I may of the minority here but I would actually like to see D3 on my 360. I used to be a PC snob but after getting used to Halo 2 on the Xbox I made the transition to console gaming for FPS.RTS games still require a PC imho but D3 is totally doable on the 360, the controls are fairly simple and just sitting on the couch is a much greater gaming experience to me than sitting at my desk.
Isn't a bit unlike Blizz to say don't expect the absolute most from their games? They've always released games 'when they're done' and they've always turned out amazing, why change it now?
I agree with everyone, MF is essential to Diablo and makes for interesting builds which Blizz has been pushing from the get go. They don't want cookie cutter builds, even though there will be some regardless of how hard they try, but adding in MF pieces to builds and gear is a give/take challenge that we all will have to deal with. Its part of what makes Diablo.
