I completely agree that making Diablo 3 available for consoles is a good thing, mainly because it does exactly what this forum topic is about...expanding the community. Sure, it does do things like take away from the overall PC community since my guess is they will not allow Console to PC connections, since most other franchises have also failed to do that (Aside from Valve with the PS3 thing), but overall it does help a much broader audience experience the game. Only having it restricted to PC is a big damper on the overall market and community, whereas it seems more and more game players, in general, only use consoles. Bringing it to consoles helps those who do not want/can't afford buying a decent PC the chance to experience the game and all it has to offer.
