I wonder how many people lied about themselves being in Inferno. I'm going through Hell atm and the burst in Hell has killed me more than once already. Not quite sure if I'm looking forward to Inferno as a Barb.

posted a message on What do you think of the max 10 caracters per account?
That seems like a reasonable amount for the time being. If/when there's an expansion then that might be an issue that could come across due to the possible want or need to make a new character or characters for it. As far as I'm aware they want to make it so you're able to change your spec as well so 10 characters should be plenty... for now.

posted a message on Hardcore Arena would you do it?
I wouldn't, no. Arena's work around the idea that you'll be practicing a lot and burst damage. You could easily be the choice to be bursted down and die nearly instantly just to lose your character forever. No thanks.

Its entirely possible to do. My idea would be.
    • Available to max Level players only.
    • Uses existing gear and skills
    • Upon entering your characters equipment and skills are basically turned of.
    • You start at level 1 and each time you level up you can enable one skill.
    • You use gold you earn during the game to enable the item slots; eg; head, chest which gives the stat bonuses/affixes whatever.
But thats a way to get items/skills to improve etc. Dunno how much it would work. Iniitial suggestion only. They could add unique stuff for the dota pvp only mode.

Obviously it would just be a sub-type game so does not require to be a fully fleshed out dota/lol/dota2 game.
It doesn't even have to be that complex. No one says you have to level up or get new items in a moba.

Just throw people into the map and have their objective to destroy the oppositions buildings. It eliminates a lot of the laning, but puts emphasis on the teamfights and pushing, which is the most fun part anyways.

This would just be an Alterac Valley at that point and not a Moba. That's not a moba if you take out every aspect that makes it a Moba. You can't take out every aspect of a Moba and call it a Moba, that's just silly.

posted a message on Diablo PvP DOTA
No this wouldn't work with how Dota is played or every Moba. For moba's to work you have to start at level one so it would have to be available to anyone. There would also need to be a larger availability of hero types as well so you can counter pick correctly and be able to fit the niche that your team may/will need if you want to play at a competitive level. Blizzard is already making a "Blizzard DOTA" right now so I don't see why they'd waste their time on a moba game that would be mediocre at best.

If they spent the time to make a moba for D3 it would end up like LoL where nearly everyone plays the same, there's only a handful of useful characters and while variety looks like it's there, it's not. Blizzard likes to do things right when they release something so they wouldn't want to spend the time on it since they're constantly balancing Dota 2 and Dota 1 still to this day.

posted a message on [Official] Release Date Speculation Thread
I'm going to assume they're still going for a Q2 release. Activision wants Blizzard to get this game out very, very badly. That $$AH is going to be making them so much bank it's ludicrous.

posted a message on Diablo III Beta System Requirements
Even though the specs are low I'll be buying a new rig soon. I've been really wanted to put in a new processor and some better ram but with that comes a new mobo so at that point I'll just put together a whole new rig and use this as a data server or something. I'll probably keep the card since it's mostly fine (GTX 460) and throw in my old card (9800 GTX+) to use it as the server.

posted a message on Damage or Utility?
I run and play burst almost always. I love being a glass cannon almost. I usually played DW frenzy Barb with the occasional summoner Necro or summoner Druid. That's just my personal playstyle, though, and that's how I love my game.

posted a message on New Players....I recommend you to play D2 :)
If you really want to know more about Diablo I would also suggest picking up the books from Barnes and Noble or some other outlet. There's only a few of them and they're not pricey at all. I'm also sure you could pick them up from Amazon for fairly cheap as well. They're also fairly small books for the most part usually being around 300 pages if I remember correctly.

posted a message on Best Diablo 3 Class
I don't think there's going to be a "best" class. I believe there will be a best class for each individual but not a best class as a whole. Each class will bring something different to the table making them strong in some points and weak in others.

posted a message on How are you passing the time till D3?
Well for a while I was playing Diablo 2 until all my friends quit since the game is semi outdated *cough* so now I play whatever comes up. Usually playing Torchlight, World of Warcraft or the occasional game on my Playstation 3. Then there's always Dota 2 since I quit playing League of Legends a while ago due to how easy it was is well as the exorbitantly priced champions for that game due to the takeover by Tencent Holdings. Then of course you can't forget the mighty Skyrim.

There's also the occasional TV watching but that's not too often.

posted a message on We deserve MORE in our collectors edition now!
We don't deserve anything more for our collectors edition. We choose to buy it with what's included for the price they set. If you don't believe the price is worth the contents, no one is making you buy it. That's the beauty of being a consumer if you're able to vote with the strongest asset the company needs, your money. If you think you deserve more from it, vote with your wallet and don't buy it. I've been waiting for so many years for Diablo 3 that if I had a kid when Diablo 2 exp came out the kids would be either in their last year of middle school or their first year of high school. That's how long I've been waiting and I'm still going to be buying the collectors edition because I feel as though I deserve it. I waited. I was as quick as I could be to preorder it and I spent the money I worked for too deserve it. I cannot wait to get it and blizzard is extremely well known to take their time with their products and their track records of awards one on every single title prove it.

Sorry if there's any word errors. I'm typing this from my phone.
