Not taking sides here but out of the 7m copies sold, how many do you think reaches inferno and continues progression?
does that matter? i've been in inferno for a while now i still enjoy this game... my brother on the other hand is still in act 2 normal. he still enjoys the game.
i wouldn't say i'm throwing in the towel i am able to to clear act 2 inferno on my barb including most elite packs but i doubt i'll be able to finish inferno by the time the patch hits so i'm not gonna bother trying. as of right now i'm leveling other characters and enjoying it very much.
as a melee class i like this... why should i be punished even more just because i want to play with friends? ranged get 1 shot anyways cus they stack dps instead of defensive while i am fully defensive sacraficing all the joy out of my class just to progress.
i've been lurking these forums back when this place was called diablo3.com... i'm more of a reader than a poster so just because i made my forum account like 12 days ago with only 1 other post i shouldn't get to have a chance at a beta key? i loved diablo 2 just as much as you did i'm sure i'm just more of an active reader than poster. i didn't even bother with the other random posting "contest" because i didn't feel the need to be forced to comment on every post i saw. i was however willing to post my build at a very small chance of getting into the beta. i'm sorry people feel more deserving for beta becase they post more often than i do.
This will be as far as i know my leveling/pve build for my main (barbarian).
here is why i choose my skills/runes.
Cleave with extra fury gain just for the extra fury as that is all i'd use cleave for to gain some fury!
Wirlwind with lifeleech on crit.. can't have my barb without such a classic barb move.
Groundstop with damage rune. a good aoe stun with some aoe damage can't go wrong with that.
Leap attack with 50% chance stun. i want leap attack just for the mobility getting around easier. and the stun just for extra time to kill without getting hurt. probably good for inferno.
Revenge with extra life leech and fury gained. just another aoe skill with fury and life gained. yum!
Wrath of the berzerker with damage rune. more damage and other stats.. smash!
Unforgiving passive for the always gaining rage aww yeah
Ruthless for bigger crits for better heals!
and finally Bloodthirst just cus i like gaining life with doing damage.
