Yes this is the problem, mine sits near 280 most days with spikes to1500, I will never be able to play hard core, thank god for the console version, only problem is when on the road I leave my laptop behind and drag my PS3 with me, maybe I should get a projector too ;), anyway still love the game now that ican play hard core, death to PC, long live ps3
Nope, they said that D3 will always be online. Forget about offline D3, isn't your computer hooked up to the internet all the time anyway? If you are desperate, you could buy the console version since it has offline mode.
Yep I did, so as I move around I leave the laptop at home and drag my PS3 with me, anyone know of a good carry case for PS3?
Just want to be clear, I never said better, I play d3 almost every night since launch, just an 1hr for myself, and now that its on console it's a refreshing change plus in not bothering the wife so win win, and with being in Australia console has no lag, even better , now it's on my 42" screen even betterer, I can lay on the couch , I'm not worried about spilling crap all over my computer lastly I can throw the controller.
As soon as RoS is out I'm back.

Wow, haven't been back on PC since getting consol version, playing HC with no lag is fun and I'm dying a lot, let me tell you d3 on console is hard, way harder than PC, I have to use choke points, I have to run away, I am scared to leave town, I buy health potions, I get surrounded, I can't move, I'm dying and I'm only level 4, praise The Lord I'm playing Diablo again, did I mention nephelom globes, less rubbish drops ease of pick up, quick item check for upgrades, look ill be back in PC to just this is so much fun, and I can't help but sit back and watch my friends die while they beg me for help. Amen
Counting what exactly ? And in what time frames ? Per session ? Per character ? Per hour ?
You sort of have a overall gold counter with the "pick up 100M" achievement as long as you dont complete it.
You sort of have kill counters for massacre boni.
Please elaborate more, just saying "we need a counter" is not specific enugh.
Hey sure, as i said like a stop watch, say you'd like to see how many you kill / how much gold in weeping hollow, hit start, hit stop when your done, next time your running thru repeat, just alittle some thing to fill the gap till D3X, i'd also like to see displayed achievements goals, how far are you away from completion, who's next on the hit list and so forth and a little box to check which ones your tracking.

just a little wish list, would love a gold counter kill counter up near the mini map similar to a stop watch, also a legendary chest that has a million gold in it
Well I play diablo about 2 hrs every night after the kids hit the sack, I find it relaxing and enjoyable, to me the game has improved continuously after each patch, it is the only game I've ever played to completion, maybe I was the market they were looking for, all I ask is they need to steal a few ideas from tl2 and PoE, end game maps and phase portal beasts, keep it coming blizzard, oh and I've never had over 10 mil in gold and I still enjoy the game. Ps when it's finally not viable please make it off line (I think that's coming anyway down the track)
Could Blizzard just please give Grinding Gears Games 100 million from the 700 million and just buy their game out then use alll the ideas and asset to make a game that will echo thru the ages, aleast can blizzard steal the end game map idea, find a map, one time use, can be sold, portal to anew,themed,random,boss filled ,kill the big boss get a legendary, if you blow it its gone, type of thingy.
Now that would be something to hunt for!!
