all i did was overclock my AMD phenom II X2 555 3.2 Ghz into a phenom II X4 B55 3.8 Ghz and bought a GTX 550 ti 1 GB runs flawlessly at 1920 x 1080 all maxed dunno why ppl keep referring to buying a gtx 580 or 590 its complete overkill but i guess it depends on ppls preferences for other future games
Specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom X2 II 555 BLack edition 3.2GHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 550 ti 1 GB
RAM: 4 GB RAM clocked at 667 mhz
Mobo: ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
OS: Windows 7 x64
resolution: 1920 x 1080
Ive been currently playing the Diablo 3 beta on a server emulator and ive noticed that my GTX 550 ti runs fine everything maxed on 1920 x 1080 with around 50- 60 fps but as i walk around the world with non animated zombies( A LOT OF THEM) there seems to be a spike in my fps goes down to around 20-30 fps im just wondering if there is any way i could prevent this from noticing jittery fps drops and keeping my GTX 550 ti (since i just bought it), would upgrading my RAM or CPU improve on these fps from dropping?
Mooege right? That fps dip you keep getting is the emulators fault.
ahh i see i was wondering if i purchased the wrong card, im not that crazy into pc gaming so i figured id buy a card just for d3 =p but the gtx 550 ti runs well on starcraft 2 all maxed on 1920 x 1080 maybe a little fps drop here and there but not as bad as D3 beta emulator thats good to know... Btw do you think adding more RAM will do any good or is 4 gb enough?? its DDR3 btw
