I personnally think it is just a normal angel soldier like any normal nephalem soldier we see throughout the game.
Nephalem soldiers has all the same face with diffrent gear "see the portraits".

In the cinematic you can see hundreds of normal angels coming down to fight, the cinematic focuses on the main characters, the archangels, but they just added a normal fighter to explain the fact that all those angels coming down were not all archangels.
I don't think Cain has anything to do with Leah being possessed. People have become corrupt before without much interference, like Leoric, Leah's grandfather. I think she either puts the soulstone in herself, or someone else does.
Seems like a nice spot for the black soulstone to fit on her chest. Not sure she stays possessed though, maybe someone steals the stone afterwards and she's just undead or something.
Just looked at the Top 10 most anticipated game Video on the Frontpage... and i noticed something quite revealing on the video when we see Leah at the end just after we see diablo Screaming.
it already been mined that Cain dies in act 2 , but it could be the real one we find later in the game, or even Belial revealing himself thus killing Cain , to dust.
It just came to me after playing the beta and reading all those topic about the upcoming plot for d3.
I mean what if Deckard Cain is not really the real himself.
From what we knows;
-He survived the attack on tristram being caged
-He seems to know alot on everything going on plus on the Heavens and Hells affair
-He survived the meteor on the cathedral
-He survived the skeleton attack when we find him in the catacombs
-He was already old in d2 yet hes still the same 20 years after
My guess is that Cain is in fact Belial. Maybe the real Cain is still somewhere, maybe not and hes always been Belial 'less probable'.
-We did not heard about belial at all from now
-We know hes the enemy of Azmodan and those 2 are fighting for the control of hell
-Hes the Lord of 'lies' wich easily leads to 'disguise'
Lets take a look closer at the black soulstone cinematic.
Leah says 'what am i supose to see uncle' like if he wanted her to see something or understand something maybe sending her on the track of the black Soulstone, like maybe the fact she is actually linked to Diablo ; Azmodan talking to her like if she was in fact Diablo.
Maybe cain's plan is to awaken Diablo within Leah.
I thought it would be cool to share it since i did not find anything going this way from now.

Here is my thoughts about Imperius and the story around him;
First i dont think Imperius is going to be an enemy in D3, im guessing more something like this. Im not going to go deep in why im saying this and that but heres my guess anyway.
Tyrael is going to be changed from the event of the Worldstone explosion, for some reason he is faling from the sky in the meteor we have seen and he is quite powerlless. Why 20 years after i dont know.
Imperius is angry about Tyrael's interferences in Sanctuary and his selfish choice to destroy the Worldstone wich
could explain the ; Imperius shall turn to wrath. Then Imperius decide to join the conflict directly realizing that he must do something now that tyrael is out of power. Im not saying he is going to be our big buddy like tyrael but more like acting alone to saveguard the high heavens.

This said, looking at this picture makes me think he is trying to stop something from entering the heavens doors.
