blucorp posted a message on What to do with several extra copies of D3 CE?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
The same was said about many other "Collector's editions" of previous games. Albeit they weren't as big as D3, but the same principles apply. The only time CE's are in short supply, is for preorders. And that's because it's limited by blizzard in a big way. Are they "limited supply"? Yes. But they make a huge supply. You can still go into most Best Buy's or Walmarts and walk out with SC2 or WoW Cataclysm collector's editions for cheaper than they were on launch.Quote from Zhaph
Wow, I can't believe what some people are saying in this thread! There will not be "extras" and there aren't "plenty of stores" that still have them: you are in a unique position with all your extra copies! I would say, if you're feeling generous, take them back to the store, because there will be tons of people hounding that store for a bit just on hope. If you're not feeling generous, put some up for sale now and hold back one; you can definitely sell the ones now for a profit, and you can probably sell them later for a huge profit. Remember, this is limited edition, and it's not ever going down past its current retail value.
Here's a Link to a quick Amazon search of past Blizz titles. Some of the prices are getting up there, but are by no means in the "huge profit" range. Atleast not in my opinion.

The prices may go up on some of them down the road, but it won't be by a huge amount. -

Aldrek posted a message on Builds visible to everyoneI think taking down Inferno is going to rely on a lot more than just what buttons you have to press. It's going to be majorly your skill level, and less majorly what gear you have. There's probably hundreds of thousands of builds that someone with excellent skill and sufficient gear could use to complete Inferno.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Don't worry so much about it. -

Ironically, free cleanup utilities often add their own junk. Use with cautionQuote from ScruffyLOL
good thing I don't have stuff running in the background. think i'll skip the reinstallation then, thanks for the feedback guys. i'll just install some kind of cleaning software like tuneup utilities or avg pc tuneup, should do the job. again, thanks!

gebby posted a message on Is it worth it to pick up White items?Posted in: Theorycrafting and AnalysisQuote from Fjonken2
Well, if you really want some cash and you don't want to sell your blues, you can pick up the white items and sell them. I don't know if the whites are worth more than the cash that is dropped but if it is then this can be a good start to get some cash flowing.
I don't even think it is worth the time to pick them up and sell them. At least in the beta, most white items sell for somewhere between 2 and 20 gold. Most monster kills will drop much more than that. Just not worth the time in my opinion. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
