Hey im here to ask for a few advice and if you can propose better that would be also nice im looking for the best performance for the price i can get id like to max it at 200$ a piece so here i go
i currently have a M2N-E motherboard and a AMD 64 X2 3800+ cpu so id like to only replace that so far and maybe go from 4gig of ram to 8gig of ram other then that although my graphic card isnt top its doing the job right now its really the processor that i want to focus on right now and this pc is still running everything at full so far with 45fps without shadow on the most demanding game i got so far so its more of an upgrade to run everything on full and play future game well for 5 more year which this one did with just that
so here we go i went to newegg since im in canada and i tend to check them out first most of the time so any other company that can send to canada is acceptable
what i intended to get for upgrade was
Processor:AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz for $129.99 or AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz $169.99
Motherboard:i have no idea...maybe the ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard at $102.99 or ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard at $114.99 or the BIOSTAR A880G+ AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard at $59.99
RAM:i have really no idea i always got kingston and they always gave me no trouble but now all im seeing is a huge wave of G.SKILL that people keep talking to me about
i also would like an external hard drives just to switch my stuff from place to place and basicly from comp to comp and this one just to not have to redownload 100gig of game if not more from steam only...and other cd i guess while im at it but yeah basicly this is just for convinience
External Hard Drives: id get a Western Digital Elements 3TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive WDBAAU0030HBK-NESN at $209.99 which would last me a long while with 3TB IMO
so thats about it my graphic card is a ATI Radeon Sapphire HD 3870 and as been decent so far so not sure if i want to upgrade that just yiet...all in all its my damn processor slowing me down and my motherboard blocking me from upgrading..so yeah help REALLY appreciated
P.S if new stuff come out soon i can also wait it out
