All i know if this is why people wished it was never online all the time, because this is not so cool, I payed my money just like everyone else, and now I cant even play, other companys expecially internet providers would give me money back for the time I was not able to use the service, or something, Im sorry Beta lasted long enough, and now look it is still happening. Was nothing learned from the stress in BETA? I guess more people should have been invited!!!!!!
lmfao, you want money back?!
just.... ffs -

How do you figure, sports fan? Am I to assume that the fact that these problems have occurred in pretty much all Blizzard releases doesn't bother you? It's like a new car coming out, and the spokesperson for the brand saying "Yeah, sorry folks, the first few batches came out with the brakes all wrong, just like our previous 10 models, but don't worry, we'll fix it eventually". It just defies all logic that this keeps happening release after release, and people still think it's 'normal' and 'natural'.
Yeah, the sheer number of people actually making excuses for them boggles the mind.
I dunno, it doesn't seem like an excuse, it just seems like reality. When you're setting up a set of servers so large they're going to serve the entire planet there is probably a lot of room for error there. We as external viewers probably aren't seeing the whole story; just that something isn't working.
I mean they've got three sets of servers at least for sure: authentication, data/stat table delivery, character cloud/achievement save
I think if you're expecting this to not happen at all you aren't respecting how complex computer programming and network design are. -

doesn't bother me but tbh the only game series i've played in years that actually had a story I got into was Mass Effect (yes, I hated the ending) -

Ayr posted a message on Is the story of this game made for 12year olds? The story itself is just ok, it is what was expected and stays entertaining.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
The dialogues are pretty cheesy but hey at least they are decent VA.
The way the story is delivered (number of events, progression, cutscenes etc), for this genre of game, is the best that was ever made. Diablo 2 storytelling was shit (only the cinematics were there to save the day), Dialbo 1 was even worse, Titan Quest is the same as D2. -

eisenlol posted a message on Is the story of this game made for 12year olds?I can understand criticisms about some of the dialogue (although I personally like it) but I do think complaints which point to a linear story line are pretty absurd. Considering the type of game Diablo is, and the focus on cooperative gameplay, how can anyone expect anything different. Diablo always has been, and will be, a linear story focused more on the joys of gameplay.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Jurnon posted a message on It's just me or gems and crafting pages need a to have a different color (not white)?Seriously, this is a minor issue but annoying as hell, at least for me. Have to check each of the white names just to be sure that it's not a gem or a crafting page. Should be that hard to make them a different colour... ><Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Edit: Reposted on battle.net forums. Go and agree (if you agree ofc )

if you can make an amazing story like this one be told any better in this type of game then go do it otherwise shut up. -

DonZaloogy posted a message on Poll: Day 1 Satisfaction levelI agree with most people around here, putting aside the horrible waiting time (took me like an hour+ of waiting), the game is top notch, beautiful graphics, i love the fact that the characters (hireling and you) have conversations between travels, etc.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Overall a great experience, eclipsed only by the continuous delays. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

wtf are u smoking? the DK couldnt/cant solo anything that the paladin/shaman/hunter couldnt solo easier. DK fanboys are so delusional with their 3 button dps rotations. but thats enough of WoW on the D3 forums. im SOOOO excited to have all of the delusion you share with a lot of other kids on this forum destroyed the weekend after release.
ya these guys arguing are just so heart broken when people tell them their precious barbarian isnt going to be as OP as they dream they just stoop to insults to help them cope
1
exactly. thank you for actually thinking. people on this forum make it seem like such a hard concept to grasp. in pretty much every single game on the planet like this ranged ALWAYS has the advantage over melee. people need to stop being so delusional because they are in love with the barbarian or monk.

thank you for having a brain sir. <3
im right here broski. and i know its going to be hard, maybe even extremely difficult. doesnt mean it takes a lot of time considering how often people play (8+ hours a day)

time to lock it up

blizzard employees are notorious for being horrible at their own games, and even if they werent it doesnt make them automatically very good players. these same players who said they died in normal a few times.. lmao.
you sir take blizzard fanboydom to a whole new sad level

lol.... i said it removes the motivation to switch skills IN COMBAT> which is what i said. did i say anything about permantly sticking to your build through multiple games? no, not at all. because it shouldnt be like that.
if your idea of freedom is having access to all skills at lvl 1 or you just get to pick whatever skill you want before they are available. cool story bro. the leveling system dictates what levels certain skills become available just like ANY other game genius. once you unlock the skills you have the freedom to swap them to test them and then stick to your build while farming.
using your same argument i should say i deserve to choose ANY skill to unlock per level not just the runes. which is absurd. obviously
