New Diablo comics and the Book of Adria are the best proof of new Diablo release.

I'd say the Executive Producer and Creative Director job postings might trump the comics and Book of Adria.

I think the big thing I am looking for in D4 or whatever it will be called is more depth in every aspect of the game. They dumbed down D3 a bit too much. Deeper skill system without going overboard like in POE where the skill tree can actually be quite daunting to a new player. Deeper side-kick system -- being able to have more skills, do more damage, equip more slots, so for solo players you have a whole other thing to work on -- your helper.

Deeper clan system -- give clans xp for completing weekly quests and then perks for leveling up. Perks can then be spent on bonuses/passive rewards for clan members.

In this day and age, it seems facts do not matter. It's just what you want to believe in. Inuendo90, I am looking at you. The following is Blizzard's link to all the job listings for their Unannounced Project -- basically every listing states Diablo by name...

This is real, folks. No, Blizzard does not come out and say, "Hey, we're working on D4." But, it's not some smalltime Druid add-on when you're talking about a Creative Director and Executive Producer being sought after.

And hats off to Blizzard as to WHY they even did it -- it was a slap in the face to all the critics who felt D3 on release was not dark enough. Jay Wilson certainly had his share of shortcomings, but I love it where he shows up in that video wearing a D3 t-shirt with a rainbow and unicorns.

posted a message on D4 classes

Instead of wasting everyone's time debating whether or not there will even be a D4 I'll entertain the OP's original question and state something I feel very strongly about -- fair play and the leaderboards. The D3 leaderboards. What do they really mean if you have botters, players who use map hacks, and I'd go so far as to say players who choose to use NumLock. There are 6 skills we have to juggle. 6. And not all of them for any build even has cooldowns. So, you're telling me you cannot manage cooldowns? Waaaahhh. My wrist hurts! I need the computer to automatically cast my cooldowns. Pffft.

But, I know I'll get flamed. Especially coming down on users of NumLock. But, for D4 Blizzard has to come up with steps where we all are essentially doing the same thing. Yes, there is RNG and that's okay. But, if you allow botters, map hackers, and NumLock users to be on the same leaderboards as legit players, then what do the leaderboards even mean? Have two sets of leaderboards. I am not going to spew hate and say botters, NumLock users are bad players, lazy, whatever...do what you want to do. BUT...if you want to give yourself an edge, if you feel like you have to do botting to stay competitive, fine. You get lumped into these leaderboards over here, and everyone else gets put on the official leaderboards. Maybe there is some way as soon as the Guardian drops, that Blizz knows if you NumLocked, or have bots on your account.

posted a message on Guardian season 3 gems to 70 question

I know there is something funky about this requirement, but forgot what it is. The requirement description is super vague. Is it that all gems need to be 70 and equipped? I am trying to help my support Monk friend and they have 2 level 70 gems equipped. So, I am wondering if the following would work -- they have a level 65 Bane of the Trapped in stash for a different build. If they equipped that gem after the Guardian went down (replacing the Iceblink) but before talking to the leveling NPC, and got it to 70, would that count for the Guardian requirement?

posted a message on INSUFFERABLE MISCREANT S14 Bug

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think these goblins' mechanic is different, by nature. The Miscreants are not "there" on the map by default, like blood shard goblins, gelatinous, etc. Miscreants pop out of a portal. They just appear. So, maybe that's why there is one.

posted a message on What is the Easiest build to play ?

You gotta toss in Sunwuko Wave of Light in this list. Assuming you can farm all the necessary pieces for your sister, once she is set up, it's pretty much one click and entire screens of enemies are gone. Epiphany and Inner Sanctuary are honestly unnecessary unless she wants to push harder.

Guys ... my point is simple. The only way to find a legendary/ancient item is by gaining paragon and playing.

Only one week deep in the season everybody has primals and doing 110+. 3 weeks deep nobody is playing anymore.

Well, not quite. ;) But, I get your point. One thing all of us have direct control over is how OCD we are at the beginning of a season. Go crazy and play all night, all day -- and yeah, it gets boring very fast. Been there done that. But, no one is forcing us to do that to ourselves. I am taking a different route next season and going hardcore exclusively. That by itself will force me to take things slower, but on top of that I am going to limit myself to 2-3 hours a day.

posted a message on Build diversity and classes balancing suggestion

I definitely want to see more options in the realm of support builds. Is anyone else tired of the same Monk and Barb support builds? Why can't the Crusader be a viable option? The class has the natural 25% DR that Monks and Barbs also enjoy -- they need to have viable support skills/runes ramped up a bit so players have another option. Whether it's more DR on that bounty cache Crusader shield, more regen for their Consecration, more resistances for the laws, etc -- it probably would not take too much effort. It would mainly be tweaking to what is already there just so players have another option.
