Last season, I played completely solo with DH except for a few bounty runs.
Started the season late too, but got a GR 83 with UE Multishot build.
I vote DH for you, but I might start monk just because starter set is better, would be a nice break from DH for a few weeks before then going back to it if I don't really dig monk for end game.
I haven't even considered starting sets yet. I will look into that too.
Have been out of the meta for a while and with the anniversary coming up I look forward to at least leveling only through that to 70 and then playing for as long as I find it fun, as always (I've never gotten any season chest rewards, woe is me)
With that said, what class do you think I should pick, with the following in mind:
- I will mostly play solo
- I want to be able to play different builds for different things like decently fast bounty farming (preferably while also using the Death Breath farming set, since I remember DBs being somewhat of a chokepoint), fast clearing of rifts for farming items and mats, doing greater rifts easily.
- I don't care about being top 10 leaderboards, that is impossible without farming paragon in a group and without D3 being your job, but I do care about playing something that is not completely shit.
- In the past I have played mostly WD and Monk, I despise stuff like the raiment monk, it's too goddamn spastic.
Currently I'm leaning towards WD again, but as far as I've seen it doesn't even play like a pet class anymore at least last season, so that feels kinda dumb (give necromancer pls).
Make a strong case for whatever class you think I should play. What is the most exciting NEW thing for season 9 in terms of builds etc.? I like making informed decisions
