My fellow guildees from wow recieved their beta keys on friday the 9th. They are not friends and family nor have they won any contest or attended blizzard...So I guess I'm not getting an invite...

1. I have exactly same specs !!
2. You will achieve very very poor quality unless you do 2 things:
A. install apropriate modded drivers for your laptop:

Go read forum before you download anything.
B. tell your OS to explicitly use GT540 instead of built-in intel hd (control panel -> nvidia control panel -> add exception)

Is it worthy to do a & b? yes. Proof: Crysis 2 without those runs at minimum of minimum graphics and 10 fps. With it runs on high smoothly and a medium-resolution.

I went to the website and have been searching through the forums. I checked the posts you made but I'm still a little confused. Did you just have to download one INF driver? I typed in my hardware ID and then downloaded the INF driver for my graphics card's version number (265.89), but I'm waiting to install until I get a confirmation. Also, are there any negative things that could happen because of this?

I was just wondering how you compare a desktop graphics card to a laptop graphics card. I found a chart for NVIDIA vs Radeon, but can't seem to find desktop to laptop. Is there a chart somewhere that you can look at? Basically I'm just trying to see if the beta could be an option, or if I'm not even going to get in because of my specs.
