When it comes to money, were there is a will there is a way. I think you guys give the bot creators to little credit. I give it a month or two before they have something.
I think the motivation here for the hackers will be only one thing: RMAH.
They will make pay 2 use hacks with which you can buy, get gear,sell it and get profit...

You fools think that Diablo 3 contains the same security as Diablo 2? You are beyond dead wrong. Sure hacks will show up. There was always the JSP bot back in the day. Unfortunately, in a game that is repeatedly described as an item hunt, gear IS everything. It will be the primary motivation for players to go through all difficulties, and will be one of Blizz's key focus, hence their repeated statements on how rare the best gear is going to be.
And when gear gets devalued because of bots, the game begins to lose value. Previously people devoted hours of their time to farm the best gear. If bots exist, there will be a smaller incentive for players to grind for their own gear: why spend hours farming something which bots can farm for you in less time? There isn't even an incentive to sell the items for money on RMAH if bloods flood the market with items.
Gear is a big part, but it's in fact not the whole game. In both PvE and PvP you can do overcome bad odds in lesser gear it just depends on how good you are with your character.
I think people are to afraid of this RMAH i mean just compare its not like its new, blizzard is just keeping it to themselfs now

The problem I have is they are making gear so rare to stop bots and hacks but in the end its just going to make it near impossible for me to find something I need and I will be forced to buy it on the auction house or spend 100+ hours farming 1 item.
When people that bot will just spawn 1000 players and find 1 an hour.
The thing is they are making the -BEST- items incredibly rare, and 9/10 people are only going to want to dish out hard earned cash for the best items only. What will happen is the game will be people mostly running around in decent : good gear, and then a few of the best items. Then occasionally there will be people with all of the best, and I feel that's how RPG's should be, not just everyone running around in the most high end gear just to put a smile on everyone's face.
And with the bots, give Blizzard some credit, if any individual is running an astronomical number of bots they will be detected and banned from the game. No single person will be able to find BiS gear every day, it simply won't happen.
Here is my problem with that. The people with all the great gear will be people that paid for it or when the game is 5 years old and you finally get that last peace.
Yeah there is going to be some people that pay big big big money for everything, but it's not like they are going to have it all from the start. There isn't going to be a stock of the legendary items automatically in the auction house the players will have to over time accumulate the entire set for their one character. It won't just happen all of a sudden because of the sheer fact that they have cash to throw around.
I give it 2 months before there is a major issue because thats about how long it will take a bot to be developed and used.
Also, no one is going to use the gold auction house. I mean think about it. you find a sword thats worth 35$ or 350k ingame gold. What one are you going to do? your going to do real money!

I may not buy D3 because of some of the things that are being announced. I will wait and see until it is released. I hope I can play the Beta or a Demo before D3 is released so I can make my final judgement then.

Bots and hackers exist for any game you play, and it will not swarm Diablo 3. If you're going to not play the game over something like that then you should just lock yourself up in your room and never leave in fear of people not playing fair in life.
