So the Path of Exile Closed beta has begun (I got a beta key :D)
For those of you who don't know, Path of Exile is an ARPG being developed by Grinding Gear Games. It's in the style of Diablo 1 and 2, but with plenty of cool things like a skill system similar to Final Fantasy's materia system. It also has a unique flask system which prevents pot spam, and has alternative currencies to gold (gold is near useless in the game and there isn't much gold in it either). It's also free to play, and funded by ethical microtransactions. These microtransactions have NO EFFECT on gameplay, so you can't pay for power. They're more like skins in League of Legends, or hats in TF2.

Now, it IS beta so the UI, for example, is not very nice looking and will be updated. One class is yet to be revealed, and 5 classes have been revealed. The beta will only have acts 1 and 2.
