Well after ais patch i was so angery because i used real currency to get an item and then it basically got nerfed. So i went to paypal and did a charge back due to fraud and item was altered from its original state. Now its funny TOS states its a bannable offense to chargeback.
The blizzard support also emailed me saying they were going to ban my account as well which i replied to stating that i would contact a lawyer. I used the example of buying a new car with the highest upgrades blue tooth, sound system, low profiles ect, saying that if i purchased a car then took it to the dealership for check ups and they took all the stuff back saying its our car we do what we want when we want would not hold up in court. They had absolutly no reply back. So i then went back to pay pal chargebacked my account for the full price i paid and waited.
2 days later they refunded the money for my item and the full amount of the game. Which means blizzards Tos allowing them to screw over players and not refunding will not be tolerated by paypal. So if you are not happy with the game i would suggest to contact paypal and open a dispute.
I'm wondering if they are going make these changes and ruin Diablo 3?
1. No Chat system (heard because of the QQ backlash blizzard didn't want to face over things being said in chat that might be offensive (1st amendment).Yet we all know for a fact little kids shouldn't be playing some of blizzards titles, yet parents say they will do what they want with thier kids. Then later try to blame the company for teaching thier kids bad habits when it clearly states the rating age on the game.
2. No Multi connects ISP ( 4 people are playing in my house)
3. No Lan ( Diablo 2 was great when a storm knocked out the internet/power, just hop on lan with your friends (if they were over playing) and bam back killing again.
4. No Useast Uswest Asia, your stuck on Relm based on what copy of the game you buy.
5. No tournaments Unless hosted by blizzard. (huge lan parties/public free tournaments)
6. No high Level helping low Levels ( Diablo 2 once u completed the norm nm hell difficulty you couldn't see old games/content Wow Cata)
7. No Toggle PVP (Diablo 2 have you ever been helping a friend in an open game no pass and bot comes in to MF Hostile it and go kill it.
8. No new friendships having to use 3rd party websites like this(no offense) to get others to play because of no chat system
9. Max level by end of normal.
10. NO COW LEVEL.
11. No weapon switch
12. Followers only through Norm (pair with followers who needs friends to beat the game then)
13. No exp loss/punishment for death ( except walking)
14. No multiple registared cd keys to one bnet account
15. I thought i heard someone mention a type of quest helper on the mini map .... oh god addons (hold my hand through the game because i'm to stupid to learn how to play)
16. No rune words (though runed skills seem better)
17. NO X skill can be used by another class (nooooo i loved my rift a din pally shooting sorc orbs on attack with con aura)
18. Ladder system????
19. RealID do i really care to know everyone?
20. Auction house ( Oh yay Item and mat farmers are just as great as RL online item sellers)
21. Pay 2 Play???
22. Respeccing (why bother playing after you made one of each class max level)
23. Standard pvp rules, time limits, area limits.
24. Last in franchise??
25. Combo system (ff11?)
ECT the list could go on and on it just worries me this game is going to be one big hype since they announced it June 28, 2008 and its going to fall short as so many other mmo/rpgs (sacred1/2 titan quest/ duegeon siege1/2/3 (which i preorder 3 before beta after seeing the gameplay and was dissapointed and out $60 rift as well). Nothing has come close to diablo 1/2/Lod.
