the whole hype and QA bullshit of the necro is a waste of time. It just comes down to which set does the most damage and may as well remove the other 80% of the necro's skills from the game. I haven't even looked at the necro skills, I have no idea what the class does, and yet I'll just go to the set notes and see "increases X damage by 1600%". great, now I know how to play the fucking class.
fuck this game

If you haven't gifted your weapon yet, you should reroll the socket into 10% damage and then gift the socket back onto it.
Even though it's already been made clear, the reason why CC on amulet is so important is because it's over-allocated compared to elemental damage. Directly compare it to bracers, which can roll 20% elemental and 6% CC, whereas amulet can roll 20% elemental (the same), but CC goes up to 10%

WOW those look cool

In-Geom is horrible. It's always nice on paper and when it works, but when you get the gaps of elites or long walk rifts it's complete garbage. It also causes stressful gameplay for me personally because I always feel like I'm being rushed (like Taeguk) and you don't really have time to stop and pick up the yellows/blues for mats (which you WILL need sooner or later).
Then again I may just be spoiled by Aethar Walker, but I'd always prefer consistent builds with boon, warzechian, etc as opposed to In-Geom

I knew there were sites for that but couldn't remember which one was the best one to use. Thanks

Just for a random 6tal/4fb build that already has sources of fire damage. What's better?
22 crit dmg + 737 int
-vs-
20% fire damage
JUST TO CLARIFY, ASSUMING THE ONE ON THE RIGHT IS REROLLING THE INT INTO 10% CRIT CHANCE

This makes me kind of mad. Wizard is my favorite class in the game and I've already played it for at least 2 seasons so far, and when they actually make it super strong and fun I'm over it :\ I hated DMO in s5. What terrible gameplay it had. I'm specifically making a non-Wizard in s6 just for variety.

I came in here just to say that the season journey is one of the best additions to the game. It is a clear, achieveable, and challenging goal for players with a nice reward. Your topic title isn't really about that though

Good input here! So do barbs actually have other decently top-tier builds other than charge? (it seems like 4/6 and 6/4 still just both use charge), but I've not heard about the other builds besides frenzy for s6 yet

I'm not particularly asking which class is best in s6, but I'd like to know how the playstyles of all the top tier builds play per class.
More specifically, which (if any) competitive builds:
1) don't require you to stare at your buff bar
2) use LoN
Additionally, are there any s6 classes that have multiple competitive builds? And by multiple, I don't mean ring selection or unity vs not unity, I mean actual different builds. A good example of NOT this is s5 wizard where you can only be 6 piece DMO.

Did this today so finish my season journey and accidentally found a pretty good tip that I didn't see in any of the youtube video guides I watched. Cube the handbow that marks enemies you hit for death and then you can see which enemies survived your Impale so you don't hit them again. The shield guards will usually survive because of their block ability.
Two more tips:
-Chemical Burn rune will let your single impale finish off those shield guards
-Avoid using proc effects on gear that deals damage like sash of knives. It will kill enemies too easily for you to land impales

Also, the game was incredibly difficult. Hell was challenging, but not impossible, you just had to take your time. Yes, in perfect gear it was trivialized, but that's how it's supposed to work (look at WoW).

I'm going for April 22. What's yours?

Time-locked progression.
WoW has plenty of bots, but you don't see them having anything of value.

We're getting to the point where power creep is so massive during the same season now. LOL
sooo, GR 350 by the end of the year?
