Your information is not entirely accurate. With Reaper of Souls there are very specific drops that only occur in each act from the Nephalem Caches in Adventure Mode. Acts I, II, III, and V all have unique legendaries that can drop from the chache regardless of difficulty. Act IV will randomly give you one from any of these. It's not specific areas inside the acts, but you can keep farming the bounties in one specific act if you're looking to get a specific legendary inside that act.
Also, legendary crafting materials are very specific to a location if you manage to find the pattern. There's a huge thread here that goes over their locations and how to farm them, so I think a middle ground has been added.

Charmcaster posted a message on [SPOILERS] RoS isn't about Malthael, it's about us, the Nephalem.Diablo, imbued with the essences of all seven Prime Evils of the Burning Hells, was defeated by the Nephalem.Posted in: Lore & Storyline
The leader of the Angiris Council, imbued with the powers of death and the Prime Evils, was defeated by the Nephalem.
The Nephalem's personal thoughts as they go to confront Malthael (What's interesting is that Malthael's plan would have ultimately failed since eliminating all the demons/evil in the universe would have upset the Balance. "Good must always outshine Evil, but never should Evil be completely eradicated, lest Good eventually turn on itself.") hint towards what may come. "It is past time for us to say "No more." The days of angels and demons threatening the existence of our world must end."
At the end, Tyrael is also worried that the Nephalem hero is susceptible to corruption, and that he may be 'our' aka the angels' doom.
We know we are at the final line of the Prophecy of the End Days (The 'Death, at last, shall spread its wings over all' line was used during RoS' advertising), or at least the final line as portrayed in the Book of Cain: "As Fate lies shattered forever." Everything else is talking about one of the angelic Aspects, so Fate should mean Ithereal, but we also know that the Nephalem are not part of the Scroll of Fate and at the end of RoS are fed up with being harassed and murdered by the angels and demons, so that could be used to shatter the 'fate' of demons and angels endlessly fighting. (One thing to note though is that they may've gone 'off the rails' storywise as the RoS behind the Scenes says Valor aka Imperius was very much supposed to go Wrath since he was the primary antagonist originally and was supposed to kill or gravely injure the mortal Tyrael, which very well might have started the End of Days since Tyrael claimed Wisdom, which is 'lost' at the start of the prophecy.)
So, there's a couple things I can see them doing from what they've got set up:
Diablo becomes Tathamet again as the 'endgame' for the trilogy's storyline, which they said would be resolved in Diablo 3 (but not the end of the Diablo series). This is hinted at in a conversation with Tyrael, and seemingly is one of the few ways to make Diablo a threat again. We also know he's definitely not out of the fight yet, since he had a vision he shared with Adria that you would be responsible for freeing him again, technically it was Malthael but we were the cause.
The Final Battle/End Days that have been hinted at since Diablo II finally happens. "The Prophecy of the End Days is contained within the Horadric tomes I inherited from my ancestor Jered Cain. It is a warning to those who could interpret it regarding Hell's ultimate invasion of our world, written by many different people throughout history in many different lands."
'At the End of Days, angels and demons fight on the land of man.' This was said in the Behind the Scenes DVD from the base game, and I'm sure the majority of us thought it meant the angels would be fighting against the demons. Well, now that the Nephalem have firmly cemented themselves as an enormous threat to both sides, perhaps the angels and demons do indeed fight on the land of man, but in an unthinkable alliance against the mortal threat since they share a common goal. We are told that Imperius controls the angelic host, so if that scenario did happen it has to be by his command, unless it's a splinter group of angels like the minions of Malthael. (On the other hand, this bit of the prophecy could have been fulfilled already by Belial/Azmodan's forces and then Malthael's forces invading Sanctuary)
Evil/corrupt/power hungry Nephalem(s) may appear, such as Zoltun Kulle (which the Crusader hints might return), and try to gather followers to lead an assault on the angels and demons to purge them from Sanctuary once and for all. "There are some who believe this world should be cleansed of demons and angels, that there should be no Light or Darkness, and men should find their own way in life."
Lilith may return to do the same as the above, since she originally wanted to use her children - the Nephalem - to end the Eternal Conflict. They've also delved a little bit more into her and Inarius' lore during Act V where you can hear/read their personal thoughts as they set out to make Sanctuary.
Gods such as Dirgest may get involved, possibly to do the same as the Zoltun Kulle/Lilith scenario. I don't think we really know what 'gods' are in the Diablo universe, some seem to refer to Nephalem of old, the Monks' are the angels/demons I think, there's the 59 gods of the Xiansai, Dirgest the god of desire, etc. Whatever they are, they are likely powerful and based on Sanctuary, so if angels/demons are trying to destroy it (and assuming all gods aren't angels/demons), they could work to intervene.
Trag'Oul, the guardian of Sanctuary, the maintainer of the Balance, founded the Priests of Rathma aka Necromancers and disappeared. Will he return now that the Balance has been upset by Malthael's actions? (as evidenced by Necromancer NPCs in Act V trying to restore it) -

Zero(pS) posted a message on Mystic; RNG is not RNGI've had crappy weapons for alternates roll sockets time and time again after only a couple rolls. I've spent about 25 Forgotten Souls trying to get a socket on a 2-hander that I found for my Crusader, and another 10 today trying to get a socket on a Serpent Sparker for my Wiz. Didn't get it on either.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
So newsflash: RNG is RNG. More at 11.
Or if you wanna actually discuss whether there's some influence or bad coding there, we're gonna need some real and extensive data (either from datamining or long term data gathering), not random blabbing. -

NiozGaming posted a message on Nioz's Insane Lightning Build! (Build Changing Pieces Required)NEW BUILD VIDEO AVAILABLE! - Youtube.com/watch?v=rRf1AQMkj1gPosted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
Hey all, my name is Matt and also known as Nioz. I am making a thread for the build I have been running since launch day pretty much and would like to share it with you guys here on DiabloFans. Before I get started I would like to say that this build is very gear dependent and if you put enough effort into the build, you will see results. Lets first start off with what this build is all about. It is the typical spin to win build but with lightning elements.
- This is my build as of 3/29/14. Every ability I use deals lightning damage, thus giving you more damage on +Lightning pieces.
- Wind Shear rune makes my whirlwind deal lightning damage and also generates +1 Rage every enemy hit. Depending on what I fight, this will turn into a generator. Using War Cry and Unforgiving as rage gap fillers make it so you almost never starve on rage.
- Overpower with Killing Spree rune turns it into lightning damage and also is a great damage filler while on the move. (+8% Crit for 5 seconds) Crits also have a chance to reduce the CD on it by 1 second making it possible to keep up the majority of the time.
- Frenzy is VERY good for Champ packs and Rift Guardians as it yields a chance to stun the target. When at 5 stacks your overpower comes off CD fast enough to keep up 100% of the time on single target mobs.
- For my shouts and passives it is pretty straight forward. I usually run T2-T3 so I enjoy running with a higher All Resist to keep me alive.
Now lets move onto the gear that makes this build possible. I myself have not obtained all pieces, but now realize what BiS pieces I am going after. Lets start off with the weapon I found the day after release.
This weapon is almost necessary for this build. The reason I say almost, is because you can still viably run this build without it. If you stack enough lightning damage, you will be fine. This weapon just puts you over the top. If you have not seen Shard of Hate in action with the Wind Shear rune I will upload a video in the next couple of days to demonstrate if there are enough requests. The 2 BiS weapons for this build will be Shard of Hate and Odyn Son. With the chance of rolling upwards of 20% lightning damage on an Odyn Son, it will put it at the top.
To my knowledge this is the only belt in game that will roll with +Lightning damage (+10-15%). Much like the Shard of Hate, the Legendary affix releases more lightning damage making this belt even more over the top for this build.
Andariel's Visage will also be a BiS piece for this build. Can roll upwards of 750+ Strength, 5-6% Attack speed and 20% lightning damage. (Yes, this is the old level 60 spreadsheet)
Stone of Jordan is another BiS piece as it yields the +lightning damage. (Not mine, still on the hunt for one!)
- Rare bracers can reroll upwards of 15% and Legendary can roll up to 20%.
- Rare Necklaces can reroll upwards of 15% and Legendary can roll up to 20%.

Akimasu posted a message on Best Legendary FarmspotIt's an interesting idea, but it's not the fastest known. Few things when you attempt to share a Legendary farm spot.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
1) Have EXACT time. If you farmed for 6 hours 20 minutes, say you farmed for 6 hours 20 minutes. If you farmed for 50 minutes, say that.
2) One hour is pointless. In one hour I found 14 Legendaries. What usefulness is this info? It's moot, it's completely obvious this was a fluke. Obviously having 4 people does help this a little, but not much.
3) A good legendary farm run averages 3-4 Legendaries per hour. Average is 2-3, low is 1-2. This is assuming a certain level of gear, but you get the idea. The best experience runs, currently, offer roughly 2-2.5 legendaries per hour, on average, on T1 at ~150k dps, and a clear speed that is to be expectant of that level of gear.
You average, from what you've shown, 1.75 legendaries per hour and 600M xp(likely lower if you slowed down from your very first run, which was :29 - 1:21 reaching the zone, roughly). You would achieve better xp and legendaries from T1 Keeps level 2. It's also a lot more enjoyable than farming a single boss. Cheers! -

Obvious troll is obvious.Quote from Twoflower
Things will not get much better after RoS hits either. There will be a little run while leveling, and then you will find some quick updates at 70, but i give it a week or two at max before we are in the same position again, that we have tons of drops and none are upgrades.
Of course you won't find updates regularly if you already own items from the top 1% of those available, that's how maths works. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

For a monk it would be understandable because most of their background (couldn't find the right darn word!) or training (assuming they train) comes from being extremely mentally and spiritually strong which would explain why the female wouldn't be as buff and bulky as a Barbarian would. On the contrary, a Barbarian is based mainly on physical and all out pure strength.
So for me I just can't get my head around a Barbarian, someone that is known for their incredible strength and ability to take on a small army by themselves just wouldn't seem very masculine to have a near-perfect body. Again this is my own opinion so I understand some may think differently and I have the upmost respect for that.

I also have no idea what PVE or PVP will be like in Diablo 3 so I guess we'll just have to trust blizzard when it comes to balancing the classes when it comes to this type of thing. Though I do know that the Barbarian has several skills that lower damage taken by a certain percent, not too sure about the monk though. guess we'll have to wait and see.
I said WoW alot lol

Also I'm not quite sure what melee class you played in World of Warcraft but the Warrior (assuming that the Warrior is the closest linked to the Barbarian) had some of the most mobility amongst most of the classes.
When I played my Warrior in PvP and Arena closing the gap against ranged classes was one of the most easiest things you could do (Frost Mages were a bit harder). Other melee classes such as Death Knights had Death Grip and silences, as well as their ghoul to stun, Enhance Shamans had Wind Shear and Earth root totem, as well as ghost wolf and Spirit Wolves to stun, in turn allowing them to also close the gap. Last but not least, Rogues, with their ability to Stealth, Cloak of Shadows and Vanish, also allowing them to close the gap while stealth, also with the assistance of crippling poison, and Shadowstep (depending on spec). So please go on about your arguement about how melee classes in World of Warcraft (assuming that blizzard will for some reason make them similar to the Barbarian and Monk in relation to "lack of mobility") lack mobility.
It is true that ranged classes will have a slight advantage over surviving a horde of demons, but then I guess it comes down to how well you know your class and how to use it.

I've played most of the Elder Scroll games: Arena (computer doesn't like running it :(), Daggerfall (just started), Morrowind, Oblivion, and ofcourse Skyrim. I've loved all of them.
You're probably thinking I'm a massive nerd or geek or whatever. Yes I am, but I do have a very active social life, I have a job, and I do attend University 5 days a week. The best thing about these games is that they are something you're able to put down and come back to when you have free time. There's no "oh I need to play a few more hours to get x item type so I can be ahead or equal with my mates" because every experience can be different.
Back onto Daggerfall! At the moment I have a level 4 Assassin, and I've got to say I absolutely love the combat system! Having to drag the mouse in the direction you wish to swing your weapon rather than move your character in the direction you wish to swing is very innovative!
If any of you have any tips, tricks, hints, advice to enhance my Daggerfall experience please feel free to voice them! Also some personal experiences in any of the Elderscroll games that made you feel awesome please post!
Thanks, Ducha
