Yeah I think once they start showing end game stuff that's when were gonna start gettin real excited. I'm pretty confident that the game gets a lot darker. Instead of making it dark throughout the whole game, I like the idea of the progression from familiar normalness to places that you know you probably just should not be. It makes total sense that some places are worse than others they've probably just been showing us the places that aren't as bad.Quote from LordofTerror12

I hear ya, toma. I like the innovative ideas they're coming up with as well. But I would like something more in the realm of familiar. Something that really hearkens back to the original Diablo. I've been very supportive of the overall art direction and character design in D3. But I do hope for something a bit more classic looking.
The armor of this Wizard, while admittedly kind of cool looking, just seems a bit impractical in its own right. Or maybe there is just something excessive about it that reminds me a bit of the over the top kinds of armor you'd see in WoW.
I agree with Siaynoq. I've been waiting 8-9 years for this game. I understand that blizzard north left, and that these are mostly different developers, but try to keep it more traditional/classic looking. I just don't get that Gothic feeling that existed in the first two games (less so in D2). I think I read an interview recently that stated the end of the game looks nothing like the beginning, and isn't as 'pretty'. My only response is that I hope so.. and I can't wait to see it.

The helm is kinda funky looking. I think they were trying to go with a high priestess look with that.
...
The helmet looks like a wolf's face. The kind of helmet you can slide up during non-combat and then down during combat. Which makes me ask (maybe somebody can pass along the question to somebody at Blizz): will she slide the helmet up and down when in town and then in combat? (Somebody mentioned -Bashiok if I remember correctly- that the stance of heroes changes when in town as opposed to the stance when in combat. It would be nice to see her sliding the helmet when entering town and then covering her face with the wolf metal face...
That is a really good idea. I hope they do that. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
