There are no day cycles. It is static. Light radius is only for certain areas too.
    Oh ok, thanks.

I hear ya, toma. I like the innovative ideas they're coming up with as well. But I would like something more in the realm of familiar. Something that really hearkens back to the original Diablo. I've been very supportive of the overall art direction and character design in D3. But I do hope for something a bit more classic looking.

The armor of this Wizard, while admittedly kind of cool looking, just seems a bit impractical in its own right. Or maybe there is just something excessive about it that reminds me a bit of the over the top kinds of armor you'd see in WoW.

I agree with Siaynoq. I've been waiting 8-9 years for this game. I understand that blizzard north left, and that these are mostly different developers, but try to keep it more traditional/classic looking. I just don't get that Gothic feeling that existed in the first two games (less so in D2). I think I read an interview recently that stated the end of the game looks nothing like the beginning, and isn't as 'pretty'. My only response is that I hope so.. and I can't wait to see it.
Yeah I think once they start showing end game stuff that's when were gonna start gettin real excited. I'm pretty confident that the game gets a lot darker. Instead of making it dark throughout the whole game, I like the idea of the progression from familiar normalness to places that you know you probably just should not be. It makes total sense that some places are worse than others they've probably just been showing us the places that aren't as bad.

Jesus... stop with these stupid threads already ffs. Oh, they said it will be out by now and its not! oooh wah wah! GET OVER IT.
I'm sorry to upset you, I was just looking and couldn't find any. Since you've read them could you fill me in on why instead of being irrational please. Just comes off to me as a little unprofessional to give us a schedule and not follow it.
Just found one sorry for the pointless thread. :)

For me I'm still a little shaky on the health orb system. I understand it's an action rpg but it comes off to me as a little too arcadish. I just hope the combat system doesn't just revolve around them. It's still way too early to make any judgments though, I have faith in Blizzard.

Just a little irritating when were givin a schedule to see these much long anticipated gear sets and then there late. Maybe Blizzard should just stick with there you'll get it when it's done schedule on the previews too.

People worried about the "business" or how its too much are forgetting about dyes, and I'm betting you you can change the color of the tongue on his mask or the red on the rest of the armor to whatever you thought looked good.

That being said, looking at the model compared to the texture, I think this looks very tribal and very fitting of the witch doctors theme. I love it especially since this much detail is put 5/18ths or so into the game.
    Yeah I agree, great point.

I just think it's a little awkward because she has her war mask on without any type of weapon. I think the right weapon could pull the whole thing together from a cosmetic standpoint that is.

The helm is kinda funky looking. I think they were trying to go with a high priestess look with that.

    ...

The helmet looks like a wolf's face. The kind of helmet you can slide up during non-combat and then down during combat. Which makes me ask (maybe somebody can pass along the question to somebody at Blizz): will she slide the helmet up and down when in town and then in combat? (Somebody mentioned -Bashiok if I remember correctly- that the stance of heroes changes when in town as opposed to the stance when in combat. It would be nice to see her sliding the helmet when entering town and then covering her face with the wolf metal face...

That is a really good idea. I hope they do that.
