Felt the need to post this here:

MMO Parents Take Care of Virtual Toddler While Real One Starves

This article disturbs me, the fact that anyone could leave a child like that. Who cares that they were playing video games, they could have been out partying or working extra long shifts with no babysitter, it's just the fact that this happened.

If any of you frequent Kotaku, I'm >:[NOTLIWS.

Lots of people thought of it, and I'm just tired of telling them "Blizzard said no goddamn healers stfu"

In Diablo, Rogue IS a Ranger, that's what I linked you to.

Dragon Age: Origins - ranged Rogue sucks? Whoa you must not know how to play, I'm sorry but that female Rogue I picked up is amazing with a bow.

My point is, in other games sure, Rogue is invisible stabby dude. In the Diablo universe, follow my link above and read what a Rogue is. We have our up close stabby guy (Monk) we're waiting on our ranged physical damage, most likely a Rogue type class.

    I may differ on that..

in games like WoW and S.U.N I have played the healer class, however, mainly pvped... did I just heal during pvp? No, I simply made it to make me better...

I see retribution (pretty much all out melee) paladins heal all the time in WoW

I see Ether (pretty much highly offensive mage) Elemental heal for that HP..

And I think that Blizzard might change how self sufficient diablo may be, like, for more fun in pve.. as people said it was the same thing over and over again... maybe bosses might make it kinda more difficult to do those things over.. and over again

This is not WoW. This is not S.U.N. This is Diablo. There are no healers in Diablo. Period. I'm sorry if I come off as a jackass but honestly I'd prefer a cyborg dinosaur ninja class than a healing class in Diablo, and the idea that the fifth class is a healer is horseshit. All classes are self sufficient, which means there is no need to have a healer since they can all take care of themselves. Will you people stop suggesting healing classes, hell has not frozen over yet.

if the fifth class is a rogue and not a ranger, I won't even play lol

A Rogue is a Ranger. Ever played Diablo 1?

posted a message on i was wondering....
Download the beta, see if it'll open. For some reason on my computer it won't load at all, which is odd mine should be able to run it just fine. In fact I had it going on ultra settings a few days ago but now it just won't even get to the log in screen.

Also a little searching would bring up:

    Minimum Requirements:

GFX: GeForce 7/8 Series or Radeon 1000/2000 with 25Mb RAM
    CPU: Pentium 4
    RAM: 1Gb
    Internet: ADSL 1 MBit

    Recommend Requirements:

GFX: GeForce 8000 or Radeon 2000 series with 512Mb RAM
CPU: Core 2 Duo or Athlon X2
    RAM: 2Gb
    Internet: ADSL 3 Mbit

    Optimal Requirements:

GFX: Geforce 9000er or Radeon 3000er Series
CPU: Core 2 Duo 3 Ghz or Athlon X2
    RAM: 2Gb with DualChannel mode.

for you, those are the beta PC requirements. Nobody knows what the requirements will be for retail as far as I know, but I assume they'll be similar.

It looks cool, but absolutely not. If you're that interested in blowing nearly $1k, save it on the case and put it towards some awesome videocard/CPU or a ton of ram, and get a nice $100 case.

Thanks for the replies :D, clears up a few questions i had. Guess I'll need to get ram at the same time then =/. Definitely going AMD, never had anything but, and have had good experiences with them. Gonna go take a look at those links now.

And Dirty I think I know what you're talking about, guy we live with mentioned some processor in development that's basically one nice large core (5-6ghz or something nuts like that) with a handful of smaller, say 1.0ghz, if that makes sense. Says it's aimed more towards gamers. I'll ask for his source and if he had one and I'm not just passing on hot air I'll post it here. Also I looked for the bundle deals before posting here but everything was really kinda bad and small mobos, I couldn't find the actual bundles. I've seen them before though.

So one thing I know I've never been good at is CPUs and motherboards. I can read the info but I don't take it in, and often it sounds a little like gibberish to me. The following pic is my current PC, I assume that's enough info to get started:

Basically I want to spend around $400 CAD on a new motherboard and CPU, preferably quad core, and every time I check for myself I get a bit lost. Best sites to link from for me since I'll probably buy from them are canadacomputers.com, tigerdirect.ca, or newegg.ca. I'm looking for something with support for two video cards, and still have space left on it for either a sound card (if on board is no good) and/or internal wireless internet doohickey. Thanks in advance :D

Ah also I'll be getting Win7 with this upgrade, it doesn't like my current mobo's onboard sound so I've had to stick with XP. Also will be upgrading the ram at a later date.

Second edit: I'm using a CoolerMaster HAF 932 full tower so size of the motherboard is no problem, in fact the bigger the better, I despise micro ATX. If you can recommend a CPU fan that'd fit in that price range as well that'd be nice :D

I don't think Equinox was pointing out anybody's taste on who or what features they label as attractive, but rather how important a person makes it to be.

And it all depends on how you look at it anyway- for me physical beauty is just that- nothing very substantial and certainly quite superficial. I can definitely appreciate it however.
But just how long will a person hold his/her attractive features? Through magic called time, there will ALWAYS be somebody more attractive at one point or another.
Contemplating a person by looks alone is lame. You are basically putting limits and chains to yourself and how you see the world when you could be free.
And I hope nobody quotes me- I don't feel like getting really serious in this childish excuse of a thread.

    I love you.
