On the topic of SC Beta, there's something I can't quite remember.
I bought the internet livestream of Blizzcon 2009, does that give me a chance of getting in beta or not? Or was it only if you were actually there and got a physical key.

Don't worry man you're not alone. I sat there for like two minutes looking at it trying to figure out what made it unique from other keyboards. Then I read the keys... lol. -
Feb 11, 2010Seniri posted a message on Starcraft II Beta This Month!Yeah. I have two WotLK WoW accounts, D2/LoD. I own Starcraft/BW, and WC3/Frozen Throne, but I haven't been able to find them since before B.Net was redone so I can't add them =/Posted in: News

I mean if its randomly chhosen between all the people who have a b.net account with atleast one game... It would be shit if a dude who has 1 game will get an invite and you, who got 5, wont....
He has as much of a right to beta SC2 if he wants to as you do. That "one game" might be WoW, and if it is then he just blew your 5 games outta the water.
Quote from "kairu" »and to seniri, I mean't no harm. but the size of Facebook combined with twitter is something to watch for. I do think they will solely slip updates by on these faster on their websites because of the ease. People Might want to pay lot more attention to them because somehow I was on facebook and saw that the second they posted and I almost shat my pants.
No worries, I was just saying this is here so we can discuss it, and I prefer that to some Facebook group where all my friends can see I'm online and never leave me alone. I rarely log on anymore, I hate talking to people. -

And everybody here has a Facebook and Twitter account, right? And we can discuss this over Facebook and Twitter as a DiabloFans community right? -

Feb 9, 2010Seniri posted a message on Female Monk UpdatePosted in: NewsQuote from "Grimson" »Shit, man. I swear sometimes western developers tend to really try to be the anti-thesis of japanese games many times.
Final Fantasy has their girly looking male characters but may a lightning bolt strike my head if I was the only one who thought that character art (not in game model) looks like a very masculine guy. It wasn't until I read "female monk" that I could see a lame excuse for breasts in the drawing, Seriously, what is with Blizzard's obsession for huge shoulder pads? Someone tell them to stop putting huge shoulder pads on everything. It's gaudy.
Was that you on Kotaku or are you just copying that post? That was me who asked if you're mentally challenged, and the question still holds. I love how breast-obsessed you are - just because they're not the size of watermelons she looks like a dude to you. That's sick. Move to Australia and leave us normal people alone, creep.
Edit: Link is to news article on Australia banning small breasts. -

I'm not sold on her looking anything like a monk especially the blonde hair.. wtf!? meh doesn't matter I have no interest in playing the monk class anyway... just barb and wizard for me, possibly a rogue if that's what the fifth class will be.
..are you sure that's the word you want to use there? -

I still dislike, but the concept pic on the page looks a little better than the first ones we saw. -

Haven't encountered any hacks or mods personally, don't think it's possible, on PC. I played for a while on Xbox One as it gave me something I can play with the girlfriend, on the couch, right. I'll take a moment and say hot damn is the console version tight!
Her friend decided to give her a few hacked items, like a ring with +10,000% damage, stupid shit like that, she went from Paragon 50 to Paragon 900 in an afternoon. I haven't played since, she's well aware she ruined it for me =/

This is pretty much what I'd build, not including PSU, and I have the case already, including my local taxes. Just shy of $1400 CAD, which is $1931.50 DEM

"Fine" is not enough, though =/ that's what I'm saying - these pre built systems will make do for 6-12 months, then be passed on to the the girlfriend once I build my new PC. I only mention the games I play regularly - I'd like to play Far Cry 4, GTA V (even though I have it on the One), that neat looking zombie game, etc. I'm fully aware that custom built > pre built, but I'm unable to find a retailer in Canada to finance parts, only full machines. Only two that I've found that have 0% interest for one year options, Dell (Alienware) and Futureshop/BestBuy, and that is literally my only option (unless I manage to solder the MOBO back into functionality, but even then, second shoe will drop eventually) apart from *NOT* having a computer for up to 6 months which is so far out of the question I can't even picture it.
What I really need is opinions on those companies (either one) from those who have shopped there (or know somebody who has) negative or positive experience, doesn't matter, to give me an idea of who I'm getting into bed with.
Pre built doesn't need to be horrible. The reviews on the ASUS G20 and the Alienware X51 (configured correctly) are mostly positive, and the markup is minimal from the individual parts. Yes, you end up paying about $200-$250 for the brand/case, but when my girlfriend gets it she'll be pretty excited about the color options and small form factor. Rock and a hard place, guys.

So about $1k total. $250 cpu $150 mobo $100 ram and $100 wiggle room, GTX970 GPU. That's what I'd build, I have the parts picked out can link when I'm home, but the problem is financially with our expenses my pc won't make it long enough to that build.
So I'd buy pre built for now, and when I build the diy one I'd pass the pre built on to the gf who doesn't need much.

$600 not counting gpu, right.

No replies on official forums, thought I'd try here c:
My current PC is about 7 years old. I've done an admirable job of keeping it going, but the ports on the back are starting to rust (decay?) and the MOBO is acting up. It's old enough that if I were to replace the MOBO, I'd have to get a new CPU and RAM and I won't cheap out, so I'm looking at $600.
My girlfriend just got a car, so we're tapped. my only option right now is go computerless until July (tax return some time before then, and $1-$3k bonus from profitsharing at work) or finance a PC. In Canada, my financing options are limited, but I've found two options and would appreciate community input:
http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/asus-asus-rog-g20-gaming-pc-intel-core-i5-4460-1tb-hdd-8gb-ram-nvidia-gtx750-2gd5-windows-8-1-g20aj-ca006s/10322686.aspx (i54460, GTX750)
Or Alienware X51 (i74790 or i54460 $150 difference, GTX760Ti) through Dell.
Both options offer interest free for 12 months, and I can have it paid off in July so I'm not worried about it. What I am worried about, though, is A] GTX750 in the ASUS G20 not being able to run the games I play (D3, WoW, Sims 4, various MOBAs, SC2, etc) and B] Alienware in general, dealing with Dell if they screw something up billing-wise.
For clarification I'm a build-it-yourself kind of guy so this will be my first prebuilt setup. Not nervous about it, kind of looking forward to a nice SFF system. What I'm truly curious about is if anybody has had experience with either of these systems and companies.

Yeah, because WoW didn't have different sets for different builds >.>

Blizzard.

Which is why this situation boggles my mind. The important data you'd need to have a hack work online is stored server side, not client side, so how could offline mode make it easier >.>
