zomg I think your math is wrong...blizzard will just delay sc2 beta, cata will then go into beta and then d3 will be on hold forever...then 2012 will come and the games will vanish.

    The end

Who cares? it was a much needed update. Steam doesn't fail and they might have a bit better integration system then you think. Have you actually played with it to say that?

I've used steam to play Combat Arms, and Counter Strike soo yes. An Way to be a downer...

 An if my mathematics are correct, SC2 beta comes shortly before SC2 release. Than shortly (kinda) after SC2 release comes D3 beta XD :cute:

I support big shoulderpads. So I guess Blizzard is making this game for me, since I seem to be the only one here who doesn't hate them.

Now we definitely need a gender switch on the other character pages as well though :o

Blizzard must be making the game for us, I like big shoulder armor also ^_^ I think it make them look powerful, not to mention since we have new armor slots to fill in D3, I would like heavy class armor to look, heavy, bulky, and powerful!... Can you tell I'm a Barb kinda guy? lol

She looks great, worth the wait! I love the concept art, I'm a fan of flash armor :P. I hope heavier armor pieces look as the shoulder pieces do in the concep art, ans light ones as in the 3d render.

Agreed, in Diablo's case it's also a matter of changing things to make a better game, but keeping the feel of your previous games, which I'm sure is one of the hardest things to accomplish.

That's a good point ScyberDragon, and as mentioned in a reply post by Bashiok here http://diablofans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25241 almost everything about the pauldrons is over done so it looks good at distance. I just hope they don't tone down the armors to much, I would like to be able to zoom into my avatar and go, holy mother of detail and awesomeness! And continue to search for more powerful (looking) pieces :D. Even up close I love how every pauldron looks, I love the (slightly) oversize armor look for impact and level of detail.

I'm all for keeping Diablo far from WoW, and keeping the armor size down to earth in terms of "realism" as far as the Diablo universe is concerned. I just don't think we should over state this as an issue with the game, after all if all the armor were realistically sized, there would be much less detail when viewed from the camera distance showed in the game play trailers. The one LOVE I have in the Diablo games, is how powerful armor makes you look and feel powerful. An now with D3 being so HD, I'm pumped for how high class armor is going to look on my Barb, which is my fav class. I think the first picture is perfect.

    59.

A huge fire demon grabs your character lifts him/her off the ground and unleashes a white hot stream of fire out of it's mouth, holding you in it. Your character first tries to escape but than only tries helplessly to block the inferno, any metal gear the character has on quickly turns orange as his/her flesh turns to ash, and only your metal armor falls to the ground.
