In D2 when hotkeys were pressed it replaced the skill on your mouse button with that skill so you used your mouse to actually perform the skill. I was just wondering how it works in D3, when you press a hotkey for say magic missile does it instantly cast the skill whereever your mouse happens to be or does it bind it to your mouse and you use your mouse to cast. I know its a stupid, minor question but i want to know, thanks. :thanks:
Ooooooo! now I just came up with an achievement you can get! use the weapon that you began with throughout the game, but you can upgrade the item to make it easier
You know people have to program these things right =P
Jay Wilson: This new system is still in the development stages and if it does not work, we still have plenty of options to fall back on. Right now, we're just trying different things and getting a feel for the few ideas in regards to the skill system that we have going on right now. It differs from the World of Warcraft/Diablo II type hierarchical styles and is more of a skill pool/path than a tree per se.
Found this on another site, any ideas or news about this? Im am very curious.
Heh this thread started out criticizing Sprint but now people are thinking of so many ways to make the skill useful and fun, talk about the guys at blizzard who actually designed the skill .
I think it is a nice feature, though it doesn't have to be like that exactly. Just like Nekrodrac said it could be more like a risk you choose to take yourself. Think about it - Your a barbarian, you finally get to the end of the dungeon, youve killed the great demon and when you think its time to head out you see a shining sword on the wall- the great demons sword. Now you grab it and click on it to equip it but a message pops up saying - Beware if you lose to a demon with this sword equiped or in your inventory you will permananly lose 20 HP.
At this point its all on you whether or not to take the sword, cause 20 HP is alot for a lvl 5 not to mention if you die serveral times. Its a nice feature in my opinion, but i think it should be more of a risk thing than fear.
I know this seems like a small issue but PLEASE change the color of #primary_nav from the ugly green-blueish color (24687c) to a brown color (something like #241404). Reason being that the gradient does not load all that fast and for about 1 second, a full second, I see an odd color as if there is something wrong with the site. #primary_nav is in the prettify.css file, you probably know what Im talking about.
Unable to change my password, probably because I dont have a curse account only a dfans account.

Talking about D3 release not Cataclysm, I'm not a WoW fan at all.
