it works with SSS, but not the EP's (so its pretty bad) . Everything is about the EPs on Ulianas thats why you roll Ep damage on boots and helm and not sss damage on shoulders.

any source on that? because the hellfire amulett that has more overall damage with unity buff deals 900 million crits, while the mythic rythm turns all eps into 1,2 and 1,3 billion crits...
so id call your comment bogus :) sorry.

    + control tests from Davloc
Some random Uliana, SSS, EP mechanics testing. I don't have access to a Lion's Claw so no confirmation for that >_<

    Screenshot of Testing = http://i.imgur.com/NYH4XGG.jpg

    Control Test #s
    --1--
    2--3
    --4--
    -5-6-

    Control Test#1 = Basic Attack
    Basic Attack Damage = 2617 = 100% wd

Control Test#2 = U6 with Gungdo, without FOA
    SSS Crit = 2617 x 3.43 x 56.77 x 1.29 = 657,364.8
    EP Crit = 2617 x 3.43 x 27.7 x 1.14 = 283,453.9
    Conclusion
SSS & EP with U6 does correct damage (7x7)
U6 EP explosions hit the target it is applied to.

Control Test#3 = U6 with Gungdo with FOA
    SSS Crit = 2617 x 3.43 x 56.77 x 1.29 = 657,364.8
    EP Crit = 2617 x 3.43 x 27.7 x 1.14 = 283,453.9 x 2 = 566,907.8
    Conclusion
FOA works with EP from U6.

Control Test#4 = DW with shown weapons
    Alternating 107,853 & 11,631 damage
    Conclusion
    SSS alternates weapons.

    Control Test#5 = U6 with Madstone
    SSS Damage = 144,470
    EP Damage = 62,295

Control Test#6 = U6 with Madstone with MR Buff
    SSS Damage = 144,470*1.4 = 202,258
    EP Damage = 62,295*1.4 = 87,213
    Conclusion
Mythic Rhythm does work on ALL hits from SSS, but does not affect the EP applied.

    Summary
    SSS alternates weapons when DW.
EP's applied by Madstone are detonated immediately.
EP's detonated with Gungdo equipped also hit the EP target (and reapplies EP)
MR works with all SSS hits, but not with EP applied by SSS
FOA works with U6 even if monster doesn't "die".

In conclusion Mythic Rhythm does work on ALL hits from SSS, BUT DOES NOT AFFECT THE EP APPLIED!

Strictly speaking about Uliana 6 pc SSS build. The thing here is an interesting one, had to ponder on that myself before I found the answer.

The thing about mythic rhythm is that it increases the damage of your next spirit spender, in which case this spender is the Seven Sided Strike. EP applied by your generator 3rd hit thanks to Uliana 2 pc does not count as a spender.

But a great majority of your damage does not come from the SSS, it comes from the exploding palm being detonated (and if you have the madstone, also applied) by the SSS, thanks to uliana 6 pc. Seven sided strike damage forms a tiny percent of your overall damage. This is also the reason why you don't see top monks having %seven sided strike damage on their chest etc. So thats why mythic rhythm is not a very useful passive.

My comment is not bogus, maybe for you because you dont undestand how the mechanics work yet. Ep is doubled by fist of az, then multiplied by ep% and cold%. Realistically, ep does multitudes more damage, even against single target.

posted a message on 2.3 Shield Bash

Fire rune is the best for solo. I play mostly groups nowdays and the Physical shield bash crus thrives, snipping rift guardians. I have a friend that his crus does 20 bill per crit. if you were talking entrirelly on solo purposes u have to go fire. If you are switching to group runs, speed rifts ** , for exp, u have to go physical, one or two shotting elites is pretty easy. Most people in D3 dont play solo these days, because the advantages that group speed runs give you, are way too imbalanced.

Hexing pants are a hard choise to neglect because they give you so much dps. I know that the playstyle isnt so pretty and tiring but the damage bonus is a must.

I havent tried fire that much, but i know the dps is low. How much do u guys crit in average?

posted a message on 2.3 Shield Bash

Physical shield bash is better than fire. The phys rune gives so much dps, its really powerfull. Having an ancient furnace on main, and blood brother on cube will really melt rift guardians, especially in group parties with the extra damage provided by supports, for speed runs. Cubed ring would be convention and armor hexing pants. I do 16-17 billion per crit witrh my current setup on Rift guardian, non ptr. I wonder how much it will increase in next patch, but i think its gonna be a lot!

Increased damage bonus from 100% to 250%.

That means that you are doing : no longer twice the ammount of damage, but 3.5 . This is huuuuge. Im guessing that the final version will be 200% .

posted a message on Best support/leech classes in patch 2.3

So the new patch patch is coming. And paragon farming will probably continue without stop, and probably 10 times faster.

I want to discuss with the people that played group runs in ptr, which will be the best support combosition for group runs 50-55s.

    1) Is the old and trusty shield glare crus still viable?

    2) Monk with implostion looks a must have in party. Will he need 4 piece innas for all the mantras?

    3) Is the new barb support good and how did he perform in comparison to monk and crus?

The best 2 sup/leech combosition will be : Crus + monk , Crus + barb or Barb + monk ?
