More Content and a revamp of movement system/UI. Who clicks to attack?!?! The worst system ever. Bliz, we can handle keybinds. We have no issues with 20+ keybinds. Drop the mouse bs, it's infuriating.

I would love to pvp hard core on any other game. This game... with the huge dmg disparity, constant one shotting, and terrible UI/movement system would just be infuriating. Now if it were skill based, gear stats were removed, had some amount of strategy and mobility, I would have no problems remaking countless toons.

I dont kill things with just meteors, although they are icing on the cake. I try to teleport around and get them in a general lump, throw slow time on them (500mil tick), ice strike then black hole to proc F&R then teleport in. You should have three meteors hitting for about 1bil each and then the slow time ticking away, spam ice strike and slow time to cc mobs and keep them around until black hole is up. AW is goddly!
I haven't really tried to push grifts, because I moved to a xp/heal munk for group play. I have a tal rasha set that would probably get me to 55+ but I haven't put the time into working it. I still need a wand for a vrys build, but not too crazy about that either. I love the del rasha build, it's fun.

I was clearning lvl 50 grifts with http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Cataclysim-1722/hero/67128366 and I'm was missing Nilfors and the Tal neck. I just go them last night. I've also dropped simplicity for the poison gem and the zei for a gizzard. Meteors are hitting for 1.7b. Just have to throw slow time down, group them up with black hole or a twister, teleport in for arcane meteor, teleport out and spam mm until you can throw down more slow times. Slow time hits for .5 bil per tick. It hits pretty hard, just have to keep everything together and use duplicates to keep your mana up and slow time off cd. This is my first alt of the season and I need to tinker with the new gear. Didnt get the greatest of rolls on the neck and boots, but it should boost my dmg up a bit. I have an alternative AW i cubed and have a sword (dmg enemies become lightning rods and pulse lightning dmg) with 3k dmg on it. I might switch my furnace to AW then use a higher dmg weapon (i have a great AW but accidentally rerolled a secondary stat when i tried to reroll the socket). If i do this i'll probably drop black hole and use Twister - Storm chaser with Renslor's Folly. I have a lot of tweeking to do, my tal neck had cold dmg on it, so my slow time will switch from fire to ice and I need to find a primary that uses fire and is easily spamable.
I love this build due to the mobility. You can teleport in and out, spam MM and keep laying down Slow Time. When Black hole is up, group everything together, and meteor the shit out of them. When you need mana pop duplicates.
I would think Hydra's slow you down too much. You can't move around a lot and try to group up more mobs.

Can drop the zodiac ring and cube a rrog. Then switch out a piece of waste for IK gear.
Drop bane of the powerful and get a teaguk. I would probably reroll the WW dmg on your helm to vitality and put an amethyst in there. 44 chd on your gloves and reroll cdr on your focus to chd. With rend and 4pc of ik you wouldn't need as much cdr.
You need two unities for it to be effective and if you cant get one, you might want to stick with focus and restraint until you find the unities. Keep a look out for a nice COE for when you get your unities. That should get you to the mid 40s or 50s depending on game play.

I was using http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#bcYRSj!ZYeU!acZbZa with two pieces of IK gear and two wastes pieces. Charge in Rend, GS Cleave to death, repeat. Just used the ancients to kill elites.

Adding pvp to the game will only HURT it. They are stretched for resources already. Now you want to take from those limited funding to add pvp... Making the future content patches even more lacklusting. No. Fuck that. Fuck pvp. Go play some other game which is meant for pvp. Diablo is not a pvp game and it will never be one. And stop trying to ruin it
Diablo is a huge grind fest for no reason other than to push grifts and get gear. Who would want to step away from their 15 grifts to actually have a dynamic challenge. You can fight RNG all you want, but a lot of people want new challenges. As it is the game is pretty boreing. I was super enthusiastic for the first month, but now (after two months of play) that I'm pushing lvl 55 solo rifts and geared out all my toons it's super boring. All you have to look forward to is Bliz reworking gear sets and adding new properties. Why not devote some resources to something new, more dynamic content. RNGesus is a cruel master. Step out from your little pve world and try fighting someone else. Seriously, what is the use of getting gear if you're not going to use it to kill your peers. Grinding for 300 hours just to push another 1-2 levels on a grift is a bit mental.
It would be nice if they just took gear away so you didnt hit the high dmg numbers so fights lasted more than 3 seconds. I wouldn't bother with high resists, just reduce dmg stats or give every one in the arena 15billion hit points. That should make it fairish. I really haven't been playing long enough to see which classes are op in a longer fight. Should be interesting with more hp though.
The only incentive needed for pvp is the joy of killing one's enemies and rubbing it in their face. All the game's i've played that add pvp incentives end up making it hard for new players to join in, via higher resists or extra dmg. So I would cap dmg and add hp to increase the length of the fight to see who has better strategy and skill. Adding pvp armor will back fire in the long term. Add pvp titles and vanity gear. I wouldn't really worry about the opportunity costs of playing a pvp match vs gaining gear from a rift. The game is so systematic people will want a break from the constant grind.
The main issue i see for pvp is the movement system. Need to be able to unlock the mouse buttons from hot keys so you can move and add a strafe button. Most of us are used to 15-35 hot keys, I think we can deal with adding three more buttons to make it 9 hot keys.
Open world pvp would be really fun, as long as you can survive for at least 1-2 mins of combat, more hp or reduced dmg. Although I would want to add a stealth feature for ganking zerg stragglers.
I wouldn't want skills banned in the arena, just give the opponents a heads up (30 seconds) to which classes they're fighting so they can respec/gear. Also take away immunity during damage dealing skills, no infinite bubble while attacking.

I really dont understand how resistances work. I am getting three quarter shot by lightning, arcane and jailing with 2k resistance to each, but my barb only has 600-1200 resistance and has no issues with lightning dmg or jailing. Not sure if im doing something wrong or if there is a soft cap on resistances and I need to boost my armor.
WD - shitty gear and can survive up to 44 grift no problem, but slaughtered in 45: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Cataclysim-1722/hero/63550235
- not having an issue with armor, but mgk dmg destroys me.
Barb - Good gear and can grift to 50 with no problems: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Cataclysim-1722/hero/63550352
- ww is op and has too much life tap/armor
I just dont understand why a toon with 2k resistance has more issues with mk dmg than a toon with 600-1200. I thought it might be mobility, but i can ww in lightning all day with little to no impact, but one lightning burst on the WD drops its health by half.
I am assuming that I'm playing wrong, but any insite would be greatly appreciated.

I was trying to gear out my WD, but I'll be switching back to the barb this weekend to grab the rings, axes and level some gems. The vault will be nice, get some new resources and start trying upgrade some weapons/gear to ancient once 2.3 hits.
