posted a message on taking a look at how blizzard announces games and then releases.
    Quote from "Dimebog" »
Are you for real? Since when does Blizzard rush their releases to make money? They will work on something for ten years and then scrape it rather than release it if it does not meet the standard. They have a reputation to maintain, and they'd rather lose some money by not releasing something earlier than release something that wasn't ready for release.

No. First of all, not every professional project needs a deadline, and Blizzard most certainly does not need motivation to finish a project. Amateurs need motivation to finish projects, not Blizzard. Second of all, deadlines are set because of financial reasons. Blizzard does not have any financial concerns in the big picture. Creative teams handle their own pace and there is never a deadline (not with Blizzard).

They will take all the time in the world if necessary.

Yes, because we all know the inner workings of blizzard so well.... I myself would be more careful with my posts to make sure they are opinions and not declarations. Not trying to be a Dbag sorry.

posted a message on Horadric Cube in Diablo 3?
    Quote from "Number1SuperGuy" »
Do you want the Horadric Cube to make a return in Diablo 3? It had a lot of interesting applications in Diablo 2, but in my opinion I prefer playing a game that doesn't require you to look up recipes online.

    http://diablo2.diablowiki.net/Horadric_Cube

For you lazy clickers: "A planned feature that did not make it into the final game, recipe scrolls were going to drop from monsters, and when clicked they would reveal various Horadric Cube recipes. The artwork was functional, but the D2 team never had time to enable their function."

    Just an FYI.

posted a message on Godly items?
Back when I started D2 like 5 years ago? I enjoyed the idea of rare item hunting to see if I could find anything godly that very few if any peopel had...Well it was foolish of me to think that. PLease make more items useful in D3 PLZ!

I would appreciate it if some magical (blue from D2) items would once in a while drop that were actually useful? currently in D2LOD, 98% of anything that drops is trash loot. Rares are a bit better but still I would say 75% of rare drops in D2 are also trash?

Lol. CoD 4: Modern Warfare pissed me of so much that I was about to throw my PS3 at the wall. I'm so happy I quit it.

Yes it can be quite frustrating a lot of the time cause you end up having noobs in your party that dont know the meaning of teamwork. I end up wanting to throw the PS3 at the wall as well.

    Quote from "maximusje" »

I have played WoW until level 15 and then I quit because the quests got boring (at first I enjoyed them with their backstory and all but eventually it all got the same).

Seriously? lvl 15? you did not even get to your first ground mount. How can anyone determine if a game is good from playing 1% of it?

posted a message on What do you expect the skill tree will look like?
Damn people got to stop hating on wow...Its an A+ game, if you say otherwise then you have never played it or did not play it long enough to get into it.Anywayz, Skill tree, I like te D2 skill tree but found that putting a potential of 20 skill points into one skill is too much. Maybe lower it down to say maybe 10?

You dont have to balance PvP, so having only pvp beeing up to perhaps 20 people should not be a problem :) then you could make team games 10 vs 10 :P

Sounds like a fun time to me.

posted a message on Monthly Payments? Y or N?
I consider Diablo II to be a MMO in some respects. not an MMORPG though. And the whole pay-to-play thing is relatively new with the gaming industry it came hand in hand with ONLINE becoming the # 1 attraction in games. not all but in most games players want an online feature to make the game last longer for the $$ they shelling out these days. And for games like Diablo whose biggest gem is Multiplayer (come on who plays single player?) that online is extremely important and takes time and $$ to keep up.

I know that monthly payments are usually only in the MMORPG area. But how many would actually pay $5-$15 to play Diablo III? I myself would not mind paying since $10-$15 to me seems insignificant since I do work now and then :P Also having a monthly payment might just make future patches come out faster and with more content.

    Quote from "angelmaz" »
No. The player count debate is about how many friends you can play with and how many people can pvp in the same game. Seriously, how many times are you going to run through the acts until you get bored? 10,000? I got bored at about the 10th time through, I guess it takes some people thousands of times that. Playing with friends and pvping made the game fun for 6 years+. Those are the aspects of gameplay that will keep D3 going once pvm has become ancient: socialization and pvp.

Hoping you got my sarcasm. :P Yea exactly, but why debate over max players if Diablo was fun because of hangin with friends and pvping. Wich is what i used it for myself. I dont understand the 4 player max if we want to play with friends and pvp. Who wants only three other people to duel with? Or three other Friends to play with? I have more than 3 other friends and Im sure everyone else does as well.

DIABLO ISN'T ABOUT TEAMWORK. It isn't about 'tanks' and 'damage dealers' and 'healers' and 'support classes'. Get it through your thick skull. The only teamwork that has ever been (and should ever be) present in diablo is the combined force of self sufficient entities. I shouldn't need a barb to use his "increase fire vulnerability" skill (imaginary) just so that my wizard can do decent damage with a fireball. Synergistic effects between skills of different classes, healing, and anything else requiring a combination of classes to work properly have absolutely no place in diablo.

Im sorry, then what is the whole 4 player max debate about again?...oh yes. TEAMWORK. Why such a big debate over something that has no place in Diablo? Either 4 or 8 max it does not make a difference if Diablo is not about Teamwork as you say.

I finally quit WoW a couple weeks after I got 80. I hate endgame raiding, and I don't enjoy PvP much. So I was just sitting around waiting for another expansion and that got boring.

I was gonna quit at 80 as well. then had a change of heart...I quit at 73 lol. my guild was sad I left. The SINGLE best thing about wow for me was the people I met. But im glad I left it. (again)

Um. I can safely say that Blizz does not rush Expansions for wow. Did not see a thing wrong with WOTLK. They DO, however, rush patches for wow that F up play of a few days afterwards.

I like bows as much as the next amazon. And I hope they make a strong showing in D3. Now about that 30 lb. arrow... Thats one muscular amazon. but enough talk of the zons bring on the archer class.
