posted a message on Dangerous gaming too long?
Gaming is meant to be a fun activity, just like cards or monopoly. Some people go absolutely overboard with the time spent gaming and they unavoidably become unhealthy from it. It's not a chance thing, if you eat more than you burn while your daily activities consist of sleep, sit on a computer chair, walk around for 10 minutes, go to bed, you WILL gain weight and lose your good health pretty quickly. Crit is absolutely correct in 'pushing his views' on people.

OP: I usually play during the night when I have spare time, so if I do feel like playing for a fair amount of time (3-4 hours) I just get up every now and then to say, have dinner, do the washing up, have a shower, brush my teeth etc. If you're playing throughout the day then even better, just get up after an hour or so, go out to your back yard and kick a ball or something until you start to sweat or you're bored, and then continue with your game.

I couldn't play through nightmare with my summon necro :S my summons kept dying horribly at duriel.... I was leaning towards playing the Witchdoctor first but maybe this means I'm more suited to using a certain Demon Hunter? :S

It's not far off. All you have to do is imagine this icon :monk: in the kitchen. Making a sandwich.

Choose the WD, you can rain toads on enemies. Speaks for itself...

I'd never seen that rune effect video until now... I'd seen the other vid with the stationary characters firing off skills but the effects they have on monsters is so cool to see. I LOVE all the WD altered skills. A giant monster eating toad?! GENIUS!!! Saying that, it'd be interesting to see how the rune levels change the animations of things like that toad, if they do at all.

    :wd:

EDIT: Also, just for peoples' general knowledge and comparison I counted the number of monsters in the D2 Bestiary and there's about 73 all up, from Act 1-5 (without including Bosses, omitting doubles e.g with Fallan/Carver/Dark One only fallen is included in the count). I don't know if the 100 monsters they're talking about incorporating are all original but if so then :xD:

And if you are playing online in a group of 2-4, is it guaranteed that all 4 will receive one or a set of item drops each? Or could, say, one person be left high and dry with no drop while the other receives massive lootz?

Jackzor are you saying all Legendaries belong to a set?

Well yeah, as of now on the Wiki it's saying that there are no sets. They ARE legendaries, just with extra bonuses when worn in their various 'sets'.

And legendaries don't HAVE to be set items, they can be items that belong to themselves as well like uniques in D2. From what I understood the explanation :pirate: . That's probably how they can justify giving the legendaries their own unique looks and features. YAY. But I don't know when they dropped the set items.... I could have sworn at Blizzcon '10 there was mention of item colours, and sets were listed as green.

Also, the fact that Blizzard has given attention to 18 tiers and not just 2-4 end game ones would obviously be the fact that not everyone plays Nightmare/Hell. Most of us here will, I know I'll go through all difficulties but keeping the lower difficulties interesting would be a massive part of new players becoming immersed in the game world of Diablo.

By the way Winged, that picture of the 3D model Axes you have there, could you or someone else explain those? Are they 6 of the 18 different tiers?

EDIT: On the wiki it says QUEST items are green.... I must have been imagining things.. <_<

ScyberDragon, do you mean that the legendaries can act like set items as well, or that set items have been removed and replaced?

    The first question asked:

Theeliminator2k - @diablo when you say 18 sets you mean 18 different boots, leggings, etc? And does that 18 include unique armor or are they totally different?

Diablo - @Theeliminator2k To clarify, there are 18 complete tier looks. Complete. 18 individual looks for each item slot.

Unless I've missed something it wasn't answered fully, and I want to know as well. Does the 18 sets include SET item looks and UNIQUE/LEGENDARY or are these going to be entirely new and separate to the 18 tiers??
