im going to wait at least until blizzcon, i want to see what the real artists will come up with. i hope we see the remaining clasess and tons of new concept art for inspiration
well,l i personally like to think that everyone should have a different idea of whats going on in the art work. Personally, i think that the spear doesnt reach the throath of this imp lord (made that up jja i figure that the creature is an imp on steroids) and the barbarian is thrown to the ground and he has to fight the creature from there. BUT thats my idea only, everyone can think of an entierly different situation.
Hi everyone, recently finished some barbarian art work. Im bored of waiting some new info on diablo 3 so i made this pice. Hope you enjoy it, feel free to say anything about it.
Congratulations to everyone how posted their own works of art. I was tempted to participate in the contest (i have a diablo scetch somewere in the art forum) but i dont live in USA so i would have never reached blizzcon anyway, never the less i love what everyone posted and i hope the winners represent us with great pride.
congratulation for your drawing, i saw it on the blizzard site. How can you submit your work there? im thinking of doing some diablo concept art, i already posted a version of diablo here. glad you liked it, yes it looks like the predator but if you watch the trailer you will notice it something similar, i guess the blizzard guys incorporated something of the predator. I have been practicing a bit in photoshop so maybe i will make one in color. thanks for the comments again
thanks, yeah the horns are lacking a bit of detail (and they should be in a horizontal position according to the cinematic i saw, i will correct that in the future). the tail yes it lacks a little bit, i don't remember the tail in the trailer exactly so i just came up with something, probably not the best but i hope to work it in the feature. glad you liked the pose, it was really tricky so its good to know that it didn't look to bad. thanks for the observations, i will try to work on them.
I absolutely agree, each act must be as long as diablo 2, this game must be epic in length. I don't think we are going to go back to hell, more likely hell will come to sanctuary. with the worldstone destroyed the armys of hell will invade the mortal plane, this can be seen in the cinematic clearly. My guess is that a part of sanctuary will literally become hell. i really would like to see the high heavens, really curious in how they looks. The other locations will be a classical european forest, an middle eastern kind of desert, both pretty much confirmed. It would be nice to explore some of the coast regions, some kind of jungle maybe back and a mountain level with some volcanic activity, between levels maybe you can walk through a grassland, a really dark marsh like someone suggested could be really scary with monsters coming out of the water. i hope we see some really good ideas
