posted a message on Diablo II included on "10 Games That Won't Die!" list.
Diablo 2 is truly a legend. I remember going to my Grandfather's house years and years back when there was only Diablo 1, and watching him play, I never knew I'd be falling in love with it. I went home and begged my parents to buy me a copy, and then when Diablo 2 came out, I instantly bought a copy, and from then on, it was my life so to speak.

I don't think Diablo 2 will die just because of Diablo 3, just as people still play the old Starcraft, warcraft, and diablo games, so will others play Diablo 2. Perhaps even it's just a simple reason as "My computer can't handle it" or "I don't have the money to go and buy myself a copy". It will still be played, for years and years to come.

Also, sometimes you just cannot beat the classics. Diablo 2 was the birth of Diablo in my opinion. Sure, the original Diablo was great, was the start of something great, but it's just not qualified to be considered as a legend. Diablo 2, on the other hand, was the start of it all, the real plot, the remarkable gameplay and customization, randomity that was put into it made it excel. It was the prized game of the gaming industry for computers, and so shall it continue to be, just Diablo 3 will most likely overtake it, hopefully :P.

posted a message on D3 New Inventory Layout
The current Diablo 2 inventory works fine for me, although I do wish it were a little bigger, or more adjustable. When I first saw a Screenshot of the Diablo 3 inventory, I was sort of dissapointed. It made it seem like a whole new system, and it is. Sometimes change isn't necessarly for the better, but rather to implement the old into the new.

Perhaps instead of the slot like view of an item, what if you just expanded it a little, making the inventory screen just a bit bigger, or rather keeping the same layout of the Diablo 2, and just changing the look to match the Diablo 3 style?

    Dunno, just thinking.

posted a message on Diablo 3 Difficulty Levels
The original Diablo was what I myself considered a breeze, something that could be beaten in a matter of hours. Diablo 2 was made with more difficulty, and more monsters, bosses, areas, etc. It only makes sense if Diablo 3 is more difficult than the last, because you're factoring in a lot of new classes, and fighting styles, not to mention the new 'interaction' with the environment around you. It sounds promising, and I hope it to live up to it's reputation. I myself have played the entire Diablo series for over...8 years now in total, and I never get tired of it. Diablo 3 has been long awaited by many fans who have loyally followed it, and I think they are also wanting it to be more challenging than the last. What's the point in making it easier?

posted a message on Male or Female character?
I will play any class/gender character, but I have also had a few thoughts. Like it would be interesting if they made a Male and Female gender of Each class, each having the same fighting style, even the same look. Just differentiated to the gender. It'd make playing the character a little less odd for guys and girls in real life, if they are the opposite gender. I don't have a problem with it personally, but when I got my Girlfriend playing, she refused to play any character besides the Amazon, Sorceress, and Assassin, for the sole purpose that they were men. So I think if you made 2 genders for each class, it'd be a lot more fitting, plus I love customization in any game, maybe Blizzard could do something with that, as well?

    Just my thoughts
