First off, no. There is still no release date given for the Diablo III beta. However, it appears that Blizzard is in full swing in preparing for the beta. On August 1st, the same day as the press event release, Blizzard added a page to their site about Diablo III's beta. In fact, it was an announcement article. However, there has obviously been no actual announcement for the beta.

More importantly, Blizzard is asking that everyone who wants into the beta should update their beta profile settings with a new system check.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

The beta test approaches! We’ve just updated our System Check program and would like everyone to update their Battle.net Beta Profile information by running the new one. You should do this regardless of whether there have been hardware changes made to your system.

You can run the new System Check by visiting the Beta Profile settings of your Battle.net account:

    https://www.battle.n...ta-profile.html

    I don’t have a Beta Profile
If you haven’t yet created a Beta Profile on your Battle.net account you’ll be presented with two download options, PC and Mac, for our System Check program. Running the program will present you with the Beta Test Opt-In Agreement, and once you agree to that it will immediately query basic computer specification information such as your type of video card, processor, and RAM. Clicking the Send button will then upload the shown information to your account.

On your Beta Profile page, you’ll want to ensure you at least have “Diablo Universe” checked for future testing, if not StarCraft and Warcraft as well. That’s it! You’re now eligible for future beta test opportunities.

    I have a Beta Profile
If you’ve previously uploaded your system info you should use the links to download the new System Check program for PC or Mac and update your system info. Run the program, read through the Beta Test Opt-In Agreement that appears, and once you agree to that the program will immediately query your basic computer specification information. Click Send and the program will automatically update your profile with your system specifications. You’ll remain opted in for whichever beta tests you’ve previously selected, and you can change these selections on your Beta Profile page at any time.

Having current system specifications and checking the franchise boxes to express interest in beta testing our future products does not guarantee your entry into the beta test. We will grant a very limited number of people entry from the entire pool of those interested, based on their system specifications and other factors. While having an official Battle.net Beta Profile is one way to potentially get in, we’ll have information on other ways to increase your chances as we draw closer to the beta test.

If you have not yet done so, I highly suggest that everyone update their Battle.net beta profile settings. Those of you unsure how to do it, watch Force's instructional video:

A special thanks to evilenginen9 for sharing this information with us.

Many have speculated on who we will be fighting in Diablo III. It has already been said that a large part of the story revolves around two demons and their impending invasion on Sanctuary. We later found out that these two demons are in fact DiabloWiki.com - Belial Belial and DiabloWiki.com - Azmodan Azmodan. We even got news that Belial will be in Act II of the game. However, this left a lot of room of who exactly are the end Act bosses and who we will be fighting throughout the game.

On G4TV's X-Play today, Adam Sessler had an interview with Rob Pardo, Executive Vice-President at Blizzard, who gave some information out about Diablo III. Most of the information he talked about was stuff that we learned about at the press event that Sixen and Force went to. While most of the information is stuff that we already knew, including no release date for beta yet, he did add one little extra bit that gives us a clue on this game.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

We do have a full playable Alpha state. So, everyone inside the company can play all the way through and kill Diablo.

That's right. Whether he meant to or not, Rob Pardo told us that Big D himself, Diablo, will be the climax of the game. So, it is more than likely that we will be battling Azmodan and Belial before hand and finishing our journey with yet one more epic battle against the Lord of Terror. Just what shape he comes in and how they explain his return is still up in the air, but Diablo III will not be without Diablo.

On a side note of this information, we also know that Blizzard is planning at least a couple expansions for Diablo III so where will the story go from here if Diablo is once again destroyed?

    The Recap
The conference concluded with Mike Morhaime's words that they're aiming for beta sometime in the third quarter. With the third quarter concluding with September, that means that, likely at the latest, we can expect beta to begin within a little over a month and a half. Unfortunately, no firm date for beta or release was announced. The team is still planning on a game release before the end of this year.

    Conference Call Timeline
2:09 PST: Beta further confirmed for third quarter, and Mike restated team desire to release before end of the year.
2:07 PST: Mike Morhaime began talking about the Auction House feature, specifying safety and security as a reason for implementation.
1:38 PST: Beta confirmed for third quarter. More may be coming later.
1:33 PST: The conference call has finally started. Stay tuned to the Diablocast for all the latest!

    The Buildup
Today is Activision/Blizzard's August Conference Call. We here at DiabloFans will be having live coverage of the event. We will be reporting any and all Diablo news released during this call to you guys. Force, Sixen. and myself (scyberdragon) will be holding a live podcast of the coverage starting at 1:00pm PST dicussing the latest Diablo news as well as listening in on the financial conference call for any new news. You can check the live cast from DiabloFans on Facebook, Force Strategy on Facebook, or the DiabloFans IRC Channel.

If the live feed is too awesome for you, I will also be posting any updates right here in this thread. The OP will be continuously updated with any news we get concerning Diablo. While it is unknown exactly what news we will be getting, it is more than likely we will have an update on when they expect the beta to begin.

If you missed the Live Stream, you can watch the recording below. We took a question or two, talked about our recent press trip, as well as our opinions on the major changes, switched to the Conference Call when they began talking about Blizzard's goals for Q3, and then had a small discussion before bringing it to a close.

  • published the article How Soon is Soon™ Part IV

Perhaps the one piece of information that we all want to know is how soon is soon™. Blizzard is known for their secrecy in this area in their development. Always ready to release the game "when it's done". DiabloWiki.com - Diablo III Diablo III has been in development for multiple years now and known to the public for over three years. Now, looking back at Blizzard's history, three years after initial announcement seems to be the magical number for the game's release. However, it has now been over three years and there is still no release date for the game.

Although there is no announced release date, there are some clues and information as to when we can expect the game. The first time we had all hoped to hear some information on its release, or more specifically the beginning of beta was back during ActivisionBlizzard's May financial conference call. At the previous conference call, it was stated that there would be specific talk about the beta. We all listened eagerly as some hoped for the best and others stayed cautious. By the end of the call we had learned three facts... First, internal beta had started the week prior at Blizzard. The second was that they are still planning for a 2011 release. Lastly, Blizzard was planning on starting the beta in the third quarter (July 1 - September 30). Nothing else was mentioned during the call, leaving many unsatisfied, in the hopes that the exact public beta date would have been announced.

The most important thing to take from this call was that internal testing had officially begun. This is important because of a quote by Jay Wilson that the development team was planning on a six month testing phase. There has been a lot of speculation and debate about this quote as it was typically vague in Blizzard fashion. Many have assumed that there would be a six month public beta while others disagreed by the need for this length of testing. While clarification was never given, we can add this quote with the facts given during the call to assume that the internal testing is included in this six month testing time.

Moving on from this call, we have had a pretty slow few months of Diablo news. There were a few big hits like the Follower system and some DiabloWiki.com - Skillrune Skillrune previews, but that remained it. Why does this effect Beta's release? It was stated by Bashiok that all systems would be revealed before Diablo's Beta would begin.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

We will be announcing all of the game systems though before beta, so there are a few things left as far as reveals go.
While we do not know exactly how many and what systems remain to be revealed, it has been particularly slow on the news front and many have worried this is a sign that Beta and release are further off than some hope. Now, to counter this idea, we have recently got some news from Bashiok that plans are set to reveal some of this information. DiabloFans and other sites have been invited to go to Blizzard's headquarters for a first look at the beta. With this press event, DiabloFans will be able to release any information that we gain during this event to the public on August 1st. It turns out that Blizzard has planned on using DiabloFans and other sites as a way to help release information on the remaining systems.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

Diablo: We've invited press to Blizzard HQ to help us make some important announcements on August 1st. What features do you hope/think we'll reveal?

So, we know that most if not all of the systems will be revealed on August 1. This information paired with the purposed beginning of beta would make it a safe guess that beta will be starting soon™ after the press event. Just how soon is up to speculation, but considering Sixen and Force will both have gotten to play the beta, it seems like it is ready to be launched.

With beta in full effect, where does Diablo's actual release stand? While it has been stated several times by different people since the conference call, it appears as though a 2011 release is still the goal for Blizzard. Of course, nothing is set in stone but the later the year gets and the continual use of this proposal only strengthens its validity. This means that there has not been any huge interferences or unseen problems that have delayed the game further since May.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

Diablo: @zkep We're still shooting to have it out before the end of the year, but as always, we only want to release it when we think it's ready.

With all of this said and done, there is still no exact date on Diablo III's release. With a 2011 release date, that still leaves multiple months for its possible release. Moving on to more speculative thoughts, there is a clue as to a possibility on when we can expect to see the game. Perhaps the biggest mystery after Diablo III's release date is its story. Next to nothing has been mentioned about Diablo III's story except little clues and tidbits. However, on Amazon.com, a premature book made it on to the site sales listing. Titled "The Book of Cain", its description included the fact that lore of the Diablo III game would be revealed through this chronicling of our beloved DiabloWiki.com - Deckard Cain Deckard Cain. With Blizzard wanting to keep the game's story a secret until release, it would seem that this book would have to be released near, during, or soon after the game's release. While the book was soon pulled off of the site, the release date given to those who pre-order the book was November 18 - 22. However, with the removal of the items, many customers contacted Amazon's support and one reply was:
Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below was changed by the supplier, and we need to provide you with a new estimated delivery date based on the new release date:

Deckard Cain "Diablo: the Eternal Conflict: The Illustrated Guide"
Estimated arrival date: December 19 2011
    Source (Pityme2pac@Europe).

Could this book hold the clue to when we will all get our hands on this coveted game?

  • published the article Drops for You and Me
In DiabloWiki.com - Diablo II Diablo II, there were some advantages and disadvantages to playing on-line with other players. When players would enter your game, Diablo's minions would grow stronger. This would result in them rewarding more experience for their deaths and yielding more loot drops. This would allow for each player to get their fair share of the loot. However, this rarely occurred as smoothly as intended. Any player was able to pick up any and all of the loot. It became it's own game of who could click their mouse button first, especially in end-game during Baal runs. This looting issue became a problem and multiple fights would ensue over the drops that someone may or may not have gotten.

With DiabloWiki.com - Diablo III Diablo III, the developers looked into fixing this problem. There appeared to be one quick and easy decision on this since it was revealed at the same time as the game itself. In this new installment, each player will be getting their own loot drops that only they can see and pick up. This stops the hustle to click on items first and allow players to play the game without worrying about fighting for drops.

While the system sounds simple enough, there has been a lot of discussion and debate on the intricacies of the system. There have been debates on whether or not there was any advantage to playing multi-player or single-player to get the best gear quickest. With multi-player, each player gets their own drops but can share their loot by picking it up and dropping it back on the floor. This allows every other player to be able to see it and pick it up. With four players in one game, this essentially increases the drop rate by four. To compensate for this increase, some have mentioned the idea that single-player drops would have a better chance of dropping better gear. However, this doesn't seem to be the case. cherubdown asked Bashiok this question about the separation of gear from multi-player and single-player. At first, his response was that there was better drop rates in multi-player. However, he soon recanted this statement and corrected himself.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

Diablo: @cherubdown Sorry that was an incorrect answer. Drops don't change while playing in a group vs. alone.
It appears that there is no difference whether you are playing multi-player or single-player as far as drop rates go per individual player. You will not be at an advantage or disadvantage based upon how you want to play the game (excluding the fact that each player can share their drops in multi-player and you will kill things quicker). However, this does not mean there is absolutely no way to increase your drop rate in single-player. As we know, Diablo III now has DiabloWiki.com - Followers Followers, a system where a NPC will follow you around and fight along with you. With these NPC's, there are skill choices that the player gets to make to customize their Follwers to their liking. A leak from the August PC Gamer announced that each Follower has a skill option that increases either rune and gems drops, magic item drops, or gold drops. By choosing this, a player playing alone can help to compensate for the trading and sharing that they could be getting in multi-player. While this does not exactly encourage players to play on-line in groups, which Blizzard is trying to push, it does not penalize those who do not want to play with others either.

In addition to the fact that there is no separation between the different modes, Bashiok also added the fact that Magic Find and other attributes will effect only the person's drops who is wearing the gear with those attributes. This, again, makes it so playing in a group will not give anyone an advantage to someone not playing in a group with MF stacked between the group.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

I've gotten this same question wrong in the past, I don't know why it continues to confuse me.

Drops are not different in co-op. The fact that you're killing faster (which you will) in a group means more items in less amount of time, means we don't need to provide other incentives.

Your own drop modifiers will affect your personal drops, such as magic and gold find. But that's the same while playing alone or in a group.

Special thanks to Doomscream for finding this additional news on MF.

As part of Blizzard's 20th anniversary, Blizzard held a contest for players of all franchises and all games to create videos of their favorite memories of Blizzard. Out of all of the submissions, eight were chosen for users to vote for the top winners. While many were about the ever popular World of Warcraft there were a few that offered different memories of Blizzard's other games. More interestingly for DiabloFans, there was a Diablo submission in the top eight. Michael Cawcutt, kal3i, gave us a trip down memory lane playing Diablo when he was younger. You can still watch his video here.

After weeks of voting, the winners were finally chosen.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

We recently invited players to send in videos of their fondest Blizzard memories. You all voted on them, and now we have our winners. Second place is Michael Cawcutt from Minneapolis, MN.
Winner of a slew of different prizes, I just wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate kal3i and thank him for helping us get a DiabloFan and a Diablo fan representative as winner of one of Blizzard's contest.

  • published the article Portals Still In?
It was during Gamescom last year that we officially learned that http://diablowiki.com/town portals " class="wiki-link">http://media-diablofans.cursecdn.com/attachments/16/736/wiki2.gif" alt="DiabloWiki.com - town portals "/> town portals were being completely removed from Diablo III. Now, this was something that was being tossed about for some time since Diablo III's development. As it has been mentioned, there was one main reason that the development was looking for a way to remove them. They had decided that town portals just made it too easy for the game's action to be avoided. At any time in Diablo II, minus the DiabloWiki.com - Rite of Passage Rite of Passage quest, a player could simply click on a scroll and instantly remove themselves from any present danger. They could restock their potions and continue their attempt to defeat whatever foe was giving them problems. Because of this mechanic, many monsters had to be scaled up to compensate for this retreat by being able to kill players within one to a few hits. Overall, this one simple mechanic caused many more issues through other various systems.

With Diablo III, many new systems have been put into place to keep the action in ARPG, Waypoint locations have been significantly increased to help minimize any walk time between areas and towns when you needed a quick portal. Checkpoints were also added for a player to respawn at after death. Along with these quick ways of transportation, DiabloWiki.com - Health Globes Health Globes were also added, removing the necessity to constantly go to town to restock on potions. With these three mechanics in place, it appeared as though most of the town portal's uses were covered without any of the disadvantages they caused. However, it appears through Blizzard's constant iteration process, it seems like this still is not enough for the loot heavy, quick-pace game that is Diablo.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

We've always been trying to see if we can create a better system than town portals, making waypoints the main travel back to town mechanic. But, it's looking like it's just simply more fun and a quality-of-life-nicety to be able to jump back to town from anywhere even if waypoints are all over the place. Plus it's not really that hard to avoid the few pitfalls that TPs in Diablo II had.

Also I never said you can just use them anywhere anytime as much as you want. :)
As mentioned, they have added yet one more way for players to come in and out of a town and back to action. Although, Bashiok did not specifically say that this system was town portals. In fact, he even adds that this other system still avoids the problems that they created in Diablo II. All we know right now about this system is that it is still limited as Bashiok noted. You will not be able to spam them or even possibly use them to escape danger. So just how does this system work?

On a related note, it was also mentioned, by a user, about the ability to quickly join others without town portals. In Diablo II, any person joining a game could instantly join their friends in the fight by one of the players opening a portal for them. Without this system, even the closely placed waypoints still seemed to be too much of a hassle for players to go through. In Diablo III, players will still be able to group up instantly when wanting to join the fight.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

There is actually a mechanic that allows you to jump from town (one-way) to any other player in the game.

The last bit of news we got included just one more piece of the puzzle that town portals have created. With their official removal, Blizzard also added a new item to the game. The scroll of wealth was an item a player could carry around in their inventory. This scroll could be used on an item and give the player gold in exchange. This helped alleviate the need for players to go back to town to dump off loot without missing out on any potential gold. However, it seems that this item was short lived.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

We haven't had those for a while, although we do have another mechanic to sell items while out and about.
While the actual scroll is no longer in the game, players will still have the ability to sell items while deep in a dungeon without having to go back to town. Will it require another item, a trait, an NPC, or some other device to allow players to do such?

With all of these changes still going, it is clear to see that the Diablo III team is still hard at work perfecting the game. However, do not let this trick you into thinking that our coveted Diablo III will never be released or that it is doomed to continuous push-backs. Blizzard always continues progress on their games up until release and then after.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

We'll be developing the game up until release, and then likely well after. ;)

  • published the article Diablo 3's Story

One of the biggest mysteries that surrounds Diablo III is the story line that we will play out throughout the course of the game. Although next to no information has been given about the story, there have been many hints and clues about different areas of the game and brief explanations of instances. By compiling all of these random tidbits together, we can being to paint the picture of what will happen during Diablo III.

First, we will begin with the overall story line. Starting with the broadest of plots we look towards the official Diablo III site. On the main page it states:

    Official Blizzard Quote:

When Deckard Cain returns to the ruins of Tristram Cathedral seeking clues to defeat new stirrings of evil, a fiery harbinger of doom falls from the heavens, striking the very ground where Diablo once entered the world. This fire from the sky reawakens ancient evils and calls the heroes of Sanctuary to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells once again.

This sets up the basis to the story that we will be going through in DiabloWiki.com - Diablo III Diablo III. Perhaps the most important part of this quote is the fact that it states this "harbinger of doom falls from the heavens". What exactly is this fiery harbinger of doom is still unknown, however. Is it Tyrael kicked out of the Heavens, coming to warn of us of the ultimate results of his actions at the end of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction? Perhaps it is the actions of the lesser Sanctuary loving angels, aimed to destroy all of Sanctuary itself by reawakening the Evil that still lay beneath Tristram Cathedral? It could really be anything that just happens to be falling from the sky and not the High Heavens themselvs. Regardless, this beginning of the game is seen in the first cinematic that was shown announcing the game and will begin the story.

Beyond this mysterious omen, we also know that we will begin the story with Deckard Cain where we find him in DiabloWiki.com - New Tristram New Tristram. He has called upon our aid to help fight against this new resurgence of Evil. Being one of the citizens of Sanctuary and Tristram through all three Diablo games now, Deckard Cain is the last of the DiabloWiki.com - Horadric Mages Horadric Mages. We know, thanks to our interview with Michael Gough (the voice actor for Deckard Cain), that "there is just more on his emotional plate in this one, than there has been before. He now has different things to be concerned about, at different points in the story, and his life, and all that". They have added an additional character, DiabloWiki.com - Leah Leah, who seems to be an important character to not only Deckard Cain this time around but the story of Diablo III as well.

With Deckard Cain being the last of the Horadric Mages, this brings us to an interesting side note for the story that may contribute to the overall plot of the game. In Diablo II, we obtained an item known as the DiabloWiki.com - Horadric Cube Horadric Cube. In Diablo III, a similar item with the exact same graphic will be used to deconstruct items as oppose to creating them in the previous game. While simply a change in mechanic, it is the name change of this item that is intriguing. Renamed the DiabloWiki.com - Nephalem Cube Nephalem Cube, this item now reflects the origins of Sanctuary itself. For those who do not know, the DiabloWiki.com - Nephalem Nephalem was the name given to the offspring of of DiabloWiki.com - Inarius Inarius and DiabloWiki.com - Lilith Lilith, the Angel and Demon who gave birth to man and Sanctuary itself. You can learn more about this story in the video recap created byforce and written by phrozendragon. Long story short, they created the DiabloWiki.com - Worldstone Worldstone to hide these people from Heaven and Hell. Another side effect of the stone was that it slowly drained the Nephalem's power turning them into regular humans that we know them as now. However, with the Worldstone destroyed by Tyrael, we can assume that man will soon be regaining these powers that their ancestors once had, making them more powerful than Angels or Demons. Bashiok commented on just how pivotal this change will be to the story of Diablo III.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

It has a name. It is not Salvage Cube. The name does include Cube, though. The name is sort of a spoiler, which is why we haven't revealed it yet.

Now that we know how the game will begin, we need to know where the plot will go. The biggest clue we have of the overall storyline is a quote from Jay Wilson in an interview with IGN during the 2009 Blizzcon.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

Well, our story tends to focus a lot more on the two major demons and the impending invasion of Sanctuary.

Supposed images of Belial and Azmodan
While he never directly states who these two major demons are, there is some educated thought that can help us figure out who he is talking about. For those who do not know much about the lore of Sanctuary, there are seven greater evils. These evils are made up of three prime evils: DiabloWiki.com - Diablo Diablo, DiabloWiki.com - Baal Baal, and DiabloWiki.com - Mephisto Mephisto and there are also four lesser evils; DiabloWiki.com - Andariel Andariel, DiabloWiki.com - Duriel Duriel, DiabloWiki.com - Belial Belial, and DiabloWiki.com - Azmodan Azmodan. Now, before the events of Diablo, the three prime evils are exiled from Hell with Andariel and Duriel going with them to Sanctuary. Of course, throughout Diablo II, we ended up destroying all five of these demons. This, however, leaves both Belial and Azmodan who are waring against each other for complete control over Hell. We can assume that these last two Evils are the ones that are now invading Sanctuary. The question is why have they moved their feud from Hell onto this mortal plane? Without going into details, Jay Wilson did say:

    Official Blizzard Quote:

We have this conundrum early on of should you have a game called Diablo without Diablo in it. We can debate that, whether we should or shouldn't, but what it comes done to is we've had a storyline in mind that's been going back quite a ways. So, without revealing too much I can say that there's been a plan. If the player thinks they've outsmarted forces of Hell and evil and they basically won, well, they are in for a big shock. Because really what they are going to discover in Diablo III is things pretty much went exactly the way Hell wanted to all along.
It is possible that Azmodan and Belial's plan to kick out the prime evils may have had more to it then it first appears. Perhaps they were testing to see how strong the humans were or knew that they would be the only ones strong enough to actually destroy the prime evils for them. While we do not know what their plan was or still is, we do know that these two are now after Sanctuary and it will be up to us stop them from doing so.

Moving on to the climax of the story, how it all ends is what is the most important part of the story. However, because of this, we know the least amount of information concerning this topic. As cliché as it may be, the game may very well conclude, once again, with us defeating Diablo. Perhaps his exile from Hell was part of his master plan to be reincarnated into the form we see him in now. Many wondered if Diablo would even be returning in this third sequel. However, it has been officially confirmed that the demon seen at the end of the cinematic is Diablo and that he will be returning in Diablo III. Many people will still argue that he will not actual be a demon you fight or that you will not even face him in the original Diablo III but he will not show up until one of the multiple expansions they have planned for the game. Regardless of when and how he appears, it only seems right that the Lord of Terror is, at some point, the climax to the game. After all, we know that Diablo III and its expansions will conclude this story that started fifteen years ago with Diablo I.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

We're not saying this is the end of the Diablo universe, but we are trying to bring this storyline to a close. It's not just Diablo III -- we've got plans beyond

Now with the all of the story we know so far explained, we need to know how we will actually play out this epic journey. Blizzard is attempting to expand the universe in Sanctuary and there are 1,000 places we could end up at along this path. While each act will span a larger area than before, there will still be distinct areas in which each take place. We also know we have seen the first three acts that will be in Diablo III.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

You've actually seen some of the first three Acts already, and we probably won't be revealing too much more than what we've already shown. We really want to try to keep as much a surprise for you when you play through the game the first time as possible. We will be announcing all of the game systems though before beta, so there are a few things left as far as reveals go. While beta will obviously be a lot of fun, should you get the chance to get in and help test, it'll only be a small part of the whole game. Some people want to know everything, but we're really trying to preserve the surprise and wonderment (that we hope will come with exploring Diablo III) as much as possible.

    Act 1:

We have seen quite a bit of act 1. This act will begin in DiabloWiki.com - New Tristram New Tristram with the fiery crash into Tristram Cathedral. Our heroes of Diablo III will be starting off their journey investigating this phenomenon. We will go back into the Cathedral that the brave heroes of Diablo I ventured into. We also know that DiabloWiki.com - King Leoric King Leoric will be playing an important part in this act despite not being the actual act boss. In fact, we don't know who will be the boss of any act for certainty. King Leoric plays a big role in the overall story of Diablo as his son was the first sacrifice to bring Diablo into this realm physically. We have seen plenty of screenshots of Leoric's Torture Chamber as well as a couple pieces of concept art of this demon. We do not know exactly how this act will conclude but however it does, it will bring us to our next destination, act 2.

    Act 2:

Act 2 will take our characters to the East venturing in the deserts of DiabloWiki.com - Kehjistan Kehjistan. We were first shown this desolate area when the Monk was announced at the 2009 Blizzcon. Within this desert, we will also be going to the city of DiabloWiki.com - Caldeum Caldeum. An important piece of information to note right now is that Jay Wilson mentioned that we would be visiting the homeland of the Wizard. While she actually originates from Xiansai, her story also takes her to Caldeum where she learned a lot of her skills. While it is possible we will be venturing to this island, it is also possible that Caldeum is the city of origin that we will be visiting. Moving the story from the meteor to the invasion of Belial and Azmodan, we know that act 2 is where will be encountering Belial. How this plays out in the game is still unknown but he definitely is the driving force through this act.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

Act two's a little bit more of an intrigue and deception-focused story, because Belial is in there.

    Act 3:
This next act has us going back to the West to Bastion's Keep. Bastion's Keep was seen in the 2010 Blizzcon panel "Crafting Sanctuary". This Keep happens to be placed right on the edge of Arreat Crater where the Worldstone once stood until Tyrael destroyed it. All we know about the area is that is the last line of defense against a horde of demons and monsters. We saw a glimpse of this assault in the cinematic as a demonic army marched. It is possible that Azmodan is commanding this army in attempt to take over Sanctuary.

    Act 4:

Practically nothing is known about the last act of the game. All we do know is that it will be the shortest of all of the acts leading up to the climax of the game. There is a chance that we will, once again, be venturing to Hell to defeat Diablo much like we have in the previous games. We could be doing this by venturing into Arreat crater.

There are a few missing holes in this act progression compared to the story. There has been a lot of concept art of Jungle-type areas that do not seem to fit into any of these acts as far as we know. This could be explained by the unknown transition of all of the acts and just how we will be going from one area to the next. Even in between acts 2 and 3, we seem to be going from one side of Sanctuary to the other. There has to be some story explanation that has us traversing such a large area of Sanctuary.

Now, with the story spelled out and how it translates to the gameplay, we are left with a few questions about Diablo III. The first is what is the harbinger of doom from Heaven? Why are Belial and Azmodan trying to take Sanctuary now that they have control over Hell? Do the angels care about what is going on in Sanctuary between the humans and demons. Most importantly, how will it all end?

  • published the article Which Class to Play?

When DiabloWiki.com - Diablo III Diablo III is finally released, we will all have a tough decision to make. Which class do I play first? Now, I am sure many of us will try out all five classes eventually and play all of them extensively; however, there can only be one first. Without any actual gameplay experience, what do you base this decision on?

    Looks:
With Diablo III, each class is going to be much more unique looking than the previous Diablo games. Not only does each class have their own style, but every piece of armor is being specifically designed to look unique to that character. So, if a DiabloWiki.com - Barbarian Barbarian and a DiabloWiki.com - Witch Doctor Witch Doctor equip the exact same gear, they will still look completely different from each other. Along with this, there are 18 different levels of gear that will each be distinct looking from previous levels. Does the look of the classes determine whether or not you play that class first?

Archetype: The archetype of the characters is a quick and easy way to distinguish them apart. The DiabloWiki.com - Wizard Wizard is your classic spell caster, the DiabloWiki.com - Demon Hunter Demon Hunter your ranged combat character. Many people have a specific archetype that they like and play through various games and Diablo will not be any different. Will this be the main deciding factor for you?

Play Style: While archetypes determine the type of character in a broad sense, the actual play style helps distinguish that character. A great example of this is the DiabloWiki.com - Monk Monk and Barbarian. Both are melee close-combat fighters but both play very different from each other. Perhaps you prefer the hulking tank melee fighter who can take it just as well as he can dish. Perhaps you are more keen on the fast combo style of the Monk who comes out of the battle just as quickly as he entered it. It's these specific differences that may have you choosing one character over the other.

Skills and Traits: With limited knowledge and experience with how the characters play, sometimes we have to make our decision on theory crafting with the limited knowledge we have. Many of the characters' skills and traits have been given and we can already plan builds based on these. A summoning Witch Doctor or an Ice Wizard may just be the build you are looking for. Will this knowledge of spells and attacks determine whether or not you play that class first?

    Lore:
Many people enjoy the story just as much as they love playing the game. Many past characters like the DiabloWiki.com - Necromancer Necromancer has a deep story that goes into that character. It is possible that the Barbarian is the same one from DiabloWiki.com - Diablo II Diablo II which will add to his story. Even if not, each class will have a unique point-of-view on the events happening and NPC's will interact with each class differently because of this. Will experiencing the story of Diablo III from a particular character be your choice for who you play first?

Friends: Some people choose who they play based on what their other friends are playing. Maybe you are still indifferent on which class to choose so you wait to see what everyone else picks. Maybe nobody else wants to play the Witch Doctor so you decide to go with him to help round out the group of characters you get to play with. Do others help you make your decision.

    Other:
Maybe none of these are used for you to make your decision. If so, what do you base your decision on.

Also, feel free to express which class you are planning on playing first with the five Diablo III characters' emotes.

  • published the article The Monk Breaks his Vow of Silence
Since the DiabloWiki.com - Monk Monk was first announced back in 2009 at Blizzcon, very little information was known about the class and how he would play. The only real info we got was that he would be Diablo III's Holy warrior and would play like a classic arcade fighter with combo moves at his disposal. Much later, we found out that the Monk's resource system would be http://diablowiki.com/Spirit" class="wiki-link">http://media-diablofans.cursecdn.com/attachments/16/736/wiki2.gif" alt="DiabloWiki.com - Spirit"/> Spirit. It was learned that the Monk would be using his combo moves to build his spirit and then unleash it using other skills at his disposal. Bashiok has shared a little more info on this system and how it will function.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

Spirit is static. It doesn't regenerate, and it doesn't degenerate. Punching demons and using melee skills builds Spirit, and most monk skills spend it.
This is what makes the Monk's system different than the Barbarian's. The DiabloWiki.com - Barbarian Barbarian uses fury which builds by both attacking and taking damage and then used for other skills. However, his fury will begin to deplete once out of combat. It seems as though the Monk will be able to hold onto his Spirit until he finds it necessary to use. This can have a huge impact on gameplay since the Monk will not be required to continuously find new demons to kill in order to keep his fighting momentum going.

Another commonality the Monk will have with his other melee partner is through the use of auras. One one time, we were not even sure what class would be having auras as part of their skill set. Blizzard contemplated the idea with the Monk being the obvious choice but at the same time, that was the problem they had with adding them to his skills. Blizzard eventually decided that this was the correct way to go and gave auras to the Monk to use at his disposal. There was a lot of debate, since then, on how these auras would actually work in the game. In Diablo II, players were required to keep an aura skill as one of their active skills limiting them to only one mouse button for any other skills. They would also last indefinitely until removed from the mouse button. For Diablo III, the use of auras will be much different from this.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

Auras are not permanent...they're short, powerful buffs.

Going off of this similarity between these to classes, there is also the runes that go into both auras and shouts for these classes. Just like every other skill in Diablo III, there will be rune effects that change the skill in some way. What kind of changes can we expect by adding DiabloWiki.com - runestones runestones to these skills?

    Official Blizzard Quote:

[Auras] can absolutely be runed. Like all skills.

The Diablo III barbarian has only ever had one true shout, and a couple others which have similar limited duration buffs. But, multiply that by 5 for runes and we have 15 shouts, compared to Diablo II's ... six? I think.

Granted every rune doesn't change the mechanic of the shout, but most do. We've covered most if not all the Diablo II Warcry tree shout skills through rune effects.

Moving on to the Monk's combo moves, the Monk is able to chain attacks together with each stage of the attack being more deadly and potent. Skills like the http://diablowiki.com/Hands of Lightning" class="wiki-link">http://media-diablofans.cursecdn.com/attachments/16/736/wiki2.gif" alt="DiabloWiki.com - Hands of Lightning"/> Hands of Lightning and http://diablowiki.com/Crippling Wave" class="wiki-link">http://media-diablofans.cursecdn.com/attachments/16/736/wiki2.gif" alt="DiabloWiki.com - Crippling Wave"/> Crippling Wave are just a few examples of the Monk's fist of fury power. Each combo has three stages that are built upon and any other combo can be swapped out at any stage to continue the chain. Because of this intricate combat system, a comment was brought up on how players would be able to track which stage of a combo they were on. First, it was mentioned that the combo stages do reset but only after a good amount of time. Bashiok's additional response iterates, again, that the Monk can be played by any player yet can be mastered by skilled players to be even more lethal.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

We don't want tracking of combo stages to be so important that there needs to be a UI element to keep track. It should be that if you're up on your game you're tracking combo stages and it helps you get a slight edge, but if not, you're kicking ass anyway and will probably do fine. Also, we have made changes to skills so they're consistent; such as making all stages capable of a dash. The final stage on combo skills is still usually the powerful topper. I was specifically referring to a movement component not being tied to a specific stage of a combo skill (if it exists). There is some spreading out of mechanics to ensure really important pieces like movement and damage mitigation can't be 'missed' because you counted wrong. But doing damage is doing damage, for the most part, so big combo finishers still very much exist on the third stage.

With all of this combat going on, there is always the question of how it will play out in a co-op game. One user on Battle.net specifically brought up the potential for griefing in hardcore with some of these skills. He mentions the use of zombie wall that would block in another player and causing them to be stuck with a bunch of demons behind it.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

There's no player collision. You can't block others, only monsters can do that. (exception being in the arena against enemy players, of course)
So, when playing with other people, we will not have to worry about accidentally (or purposefully) causing harm to our friends. However, once in PvP, that is a different story. Full use of many skills will be able to be used to group together your opponents to make it easier to take them down quickly or stop them from getting a health orb.

A special thanks to cherubdown for spotting this news.

  • published the article Diablo III's Collector's Edition

Although Diablo III's release is still up in there air, one thing we know that will be available is a collector's edition. Blizzard has released a collector's edition of their games for most of their titles. With these editions, there are a slew of extra goodies you get for the slightly increased price tag, $99.99 for Starcraft 2 and $79.99 for Cataclysm (an expansion). While there is no way to know for sure what exactly will be included in Diablo's package, we can look back at the most recent blizzard releases to get an idea of what will be included.

Within the last year, both Starcraft II and WoW: Cataclysm have been released and collector's edition of both games have been available. Both versions have included some of the same extras as well as a few special items to that franchise. Because of this, there is some assumptions we can make on what will be included with the Diablo version.

Art Book: Both versions included a 176 page art book with never-before-seen images. Ranging from the earliest concept arts to full-rendered 3-D images. They offer an exclusive look into the artists and their work in the development of these games. Diablo III will be no different as there are hundreds if not thousands of pieces of artwork that we only got a glimpse into with the Facebook like promotion.

Soundtrack: There is also a high chance of an exclusive soundtrack being included like it has been for the last two games released. The Diablo series has had a past of excellent music from the canon Tristram music to the horrifying sounds of Hell. Diablo III will surely include a soundtrack as well with the collector's edition.

Behind-the-Scenes Look DVD: The next item on the list will be a behind-the-scenes look in the making of and development of the game. Again, both Starcraft II and Cataclysm included this DVD in their collector's edition and will most likely be found in the Diablo version as well. And with a 3+ year development, this DVD will definitely be interesting to watch.

Blizzard In-Game Exclusives: While not the exact same in its product, both of the previous versions included some exclusive in-game items for the other Blizzard franchises. Both included a WoW non-combat pet, Lil' Deathwing and Hammer of the Gods. Both games also offered exclusive Battle.net content like special avatars that resembled creatures of different games. Diablo, will probably be no different. While we have already seen Murkablo, there is likely to be another non-combat pet for WoW. There is also the new Battle.net 2.0 that Diablo III will be using and exclusive avatars for that are likely to be incorporated as well to show others you have the collector's edition.

Extra Merchandise: Here is where the two previous titles differ but while the merchandise is different, these little extras are sure to come as well. With SC2, purchasers got an exclusive Starcraft Comic as well as a Jim Raynor dog tag, a 2GB USB drive that included the orignal Starcraft and Brood War. The Cataclysm version included a WoW mouse pad as well as some packs of WoW TCG cards. With Diablo, the ideas are limitless but looking at these examples, it is possible we may get something similar.

With all of that in mind, are you looking to buy the collector's edition and if so, what are you looking forward to the most?

Last week we asked you guys what DiabloWiki.com - Runestones Runestones, or more importantly their effect, you were looking forward to the most. Out of the 269 of you that voted, a staggering 117 (43%) voted for changing the playstyle of the skill. Coming in second was increasing damage with over 21% of the votes. Additional damage type came in third with 38 votes and the remaining choices of resource management, debuffs, and PvP effects all had less than 20 votes each. If you would still like to voice your opinion on runestones' effects see the previous poll here.

  • published the article Diablo 3 Followers Mechanics
Yesterday we were privileged to a "sneak peek" of the new DiabloWiki.com - Followers Followers system that will be used in Diablo III. Unfortunately, this leaked video left us with only the basic construct of the system and left room for plenty of speculation. Well, today comes with a slew of interviews from DiabloWiki.com - Jay Wilson Jay Wilson and DiabloWiki.com - Leonard Boyarsky Leonard Boyarsky. They go into some detail about just how the system is working and how we will interact with these newly added characters.

First, some nitty gritty about the characters themselves. We learned yesterday that the three Followers are the Enchantress, Scoundrel, and Templar, but just who are these characters? Each one will have their own unique story and personality to add to the game. As you play through the main story arc, you will run across these characters in need of some form of assistance. After helping them through their own journey, they will lend their abilities to you. As they venture with you, you will explore their backstories. They will make note of particular instances or comment on something that is going on. They will help tell the story to the player while they are out fighting demons instead of having to sit and read some books.

Beginning with the Templar, named Kormac, he is a stoic character with righteousness on his side. His order is actually trying to retrieve scrolls and books that Lazarus had taken before the story of DiabloWiki.com - Diablo I Diablo I. Betrayed by a corrupt member, you will find Kormac locked up in a dungeon. After you free him and slay the corrupt order member, the Templar will offer his services of protection to you. Kormac has a varying play style that will be valuable no matter what class you are playing. If you need a tank character, he will be able to fill this role very well. However, if you are already a melee oriented character, the Templar can offer healing and other supportive abilities.

After finding and rescuing Kormac, the next Follower you will run into is Lyndon the Scoundrel. Lyndon is a dark humor type character with a questionable sense of morality. Once belonging to a thieves guild, Lyndon was disgraced and thrown out of the guild. Perhaps motivated for more personal gain, he will join you for opportunities to obtain better riches and items. Lyndon is a sort of throw back to the Diablo I DiabloWiki.com - Rogue Rogue. His focus will be on ranged attacks with the use of a bow or crossbow. However, if a ranged damage dealer is not something you are interested in, he also has a variety of other skills that are more focused on his Scoundrel title like helping you get more gold.

The last Follower you will run into, about a third of the way into the story, is the Enchantress Eirena. Her story is a bit more shady and will unravel as the story continues. All we know when we meet her is that she is following a Prophet who has the ability to control people. In the midst of a fight, she is trying to protect some people and needs your help to save them. After doing so, she will follow you on your heroic journey. Offering magic-based ranged attacks, Eirena will be able to cast from afar to deal damage. However, thanks to her skills gained from the Prophet, she can also offer you services in helping control your foes for you to kill.

Moving past their stories, we go into the mechanics of how this system will work. First and foremost, it is important to note that the Followers system will only be available to those playing in a game by themselves. If another player joins the game, the Follower will head back to your caravan. However, if you find yourself alone again in this fight, the Follower will come right back to aid you. This was done to help players who want to play by themselves but decrease the clutter if multiple people are in one game. Along with this, despite having all three Followers at your disposal, you may only use the services of one at a time. But do not worry, all three will gain experience regardless if they are being used or not. This will allow you to use them when you want to and not because you have to in order to level them up. You can also switch them out whenever you want to aid you best in different scenarios. If a follower "dies," you will not have to go back to town resurrect them. This is how it was originally planned but Blizzard felt like it took too much time away from fighting and caused players to not even use them. Instead, the characters will be knocked out temporarily. After about 15-20 seconds, they will regain consciousness and rejoin the fight. If this is too much time for you, you can channel on them and help revive them sooner. To help keep them fighting longer, they will also gain the effect from any health globe you pick up.

Each Follower comes with their own unique skill set to choose from. Every five levels up to 20, you will gain access to a new set with three different choices. You can choose one from that set to help cater to your liking. Along with skills, you will be able to customize your Followers with some gear. One amulet and two rings will be able to be equipped by them to help customize their stats to the play style you have planned for them. Along with this is a weapon slot. Each Follower will have a distinct group of weapon choices that they can equip but there will still be some variety. Perhaps a heavy damage dealer is what you want for your Templar, so you give him a two-handed weapon. But if you are looking for a tank, then you can give them a sword and shield. The last item slot, which can be seen in the inventory screenshots, is for a class specific item. The only one we know for sure is the Templar's tomes. Speculation for the other two may be a satchel or quiver for the Scoundrel and perhaps some off-hand orb for the Enchantress. These unique items will only be for each particular Follower. These characters were purposely left with a limit to their customization and stats to help lighten the load of these characters. Blizzard did not want players to feel like they were leveling a second character. Instead, you are able to help design this person who will fight along with you when needed.

Moving on to the last part, the way the Followers function in a game is very important. Their are no direct controls for your Followers. Meaning, you cannot tell them to attack a particular unit or to heal you whenever. Instead, this will all be handled by the advanced AI system that has improved since the previous game. Player control is more based on the skills you give them. An example that was given of the AI is the Enchantress' energy bomb skill. A massive AoE, the Enchantress will use this skill when the player is low on health to help clear out some demons and hopefully get some health orbs. Healing and other support skills will be used similarly to best help your character in the fight. Now, there are a lot of people who are afraid that these Followers can be used to do all the killing for you while you just stand and wait; this will not be the case. This is handled in two ways. First, monster AI is improved. Back in Diablo II, you could just stand back as all of the demons would attack your hireling. Now, monsters will not just target the player closest to them. Certain monsters are programmed to go after the person in the back first while others will go after the biggest threat at the moment. Players will constantly have to be on their toes this time when fighting hordes of enemies. If this is not enough for you, then each Follower can be managed to not steal kills from you and instead just help you kill them more easily. If you do not want to spec you Follower with damage skills, then you can focus on more crowd control skills so you can still do all of the killing, or even choose more passive bonuses like extra magic or gold find. Either way, they have designed these Followers to not be a necessity to the game but will just aid you if you would like. Keep in mind, that they will also still level with you even if they are not being used so if you decide you want to use them later, you will not have to go back to re-level them.

  • published the article Diablo 3 Followers System Unveiled

We have all been waiting for the next system to be announced; well, the wait is over. A leak* has just unveiled their DiabloWiki.com - Followers Followers system. As talked about earlier, the Followers system is something that Blizzard has been working on since before the unveiling of Diablo III itself. Little information has been shared about how exactly the system will work in comparison to Diablo II. In the previous installment, players were offered four different types of DiabloWiki.com - Hirelings Hirelings, one from each act, while most players chose the infamous Act II mercenary. Each had their own unique fighting style with a choice of three different skills. After hiring one, the player was able to equip a helm, weapon, and body armor on their hireling. There were no more options for customization with these characters as they would then follow you around and fight with you until their untimely demise.

Well, it appears in Diablo III, there will be a bit more customization to these characters. There are three types of Followers; the Enchantress, the Templar, and the Scoundrel. Each comes with their own play style as well skill set for players to choose from. The skill sets will be in tiers just like you character with new skills being unlocked every 5 levels. The player than can choose one skill of that tier to give their Follower. There is also some altered the equipment slots to a weapon, amulet, and two rings. It appears that certain equipment slots and skill choices will unlock as your Follower levels. The character will also show armor value, damage, life and resistances for Cold, Fire, Lightning, Poison, Holy, and Arcane (The Holy and Arcane resistance appear to be interchangeable).

    The Enchantress

The Enchantress will be your magic Follower. Able to cast skills from afar, she will pair nicely with a more melee oriented character to blast away enemies from a distance.

    Skill choices:
    • Tier 1 (Unlocked at lvl 5) - Disorient, Forceful Push, Charm
    • Tier 2 (Unlocked at lvl 10) - Decoy, Reflect Missles, Powered Armor
    • Tier 3 (Unlocked at lvl 15) - Focus Mind, Amplify Damage, Lower Resistance
    • Tier 4 (Unlocked at lvl 20) - Energize, Energy Bomb, Guidance

    The Scoundrel

The Scoundrel will be a ranged physical fighter. Wielding a crossbow or bow, the Scoundrel will stay away from the forefront of the fight and pick off enemies from a distance.

    Skill Choices:
    • Tier 1 - Crippling Shot, Rapid Fire, Poison Bolt
    • Tier 2 - Bandage, Dirty Fighting, Scavenge
    • Tier 3 - Power Shot, Multishot, Rain of Gold
    • Tier 4 - Anatomy, Black Market, Vanish

    The Templar

The Templar is your melee Follower. Taking the role of a Paladin like character, he will be in the front of the fight. Pairing him up with a ranged class may be a good idea to help keep your enemies at bay. WE actually saw this character as the Jack of Spades in the Diablo III poker set.

    Skill Choices:
    • Tier 1 - Charge, Heal, Protection
    • Tier 2 - Guardian, Intimidate, Loyalty
    • Tier 3 - Intervene, Inspire, Tribute
    • Tier 4 - Empathy, Onslaught, Knight
Nothing else is known yet on how the rest of the system will work. However, as soon as some more information is shared, I can guarantee we will have all of the updates.

*Note that this has not been officialized or released by Blizzard yet but the current information is accurate.

  • published the article May 9th Conference Call
The May Conference call is now over. While most of the call was not about D3, we did get some important information. Most importantly, the Diablo III external beta testing is expected to begin in Q3 of this year; that is July 1st - September 30th. Also with this, Mike Morhaime said that they are still pushing to get Diablo III out this year. Of course, with Blizzard, no dates are set in stone. If anything goes wrong or extremely well, these dates can change. However, considering this is the most current news about the beta and the time frame given is very soon, it is more than likely we will be seeing beta start in a few months. From there, it all depends on how well beta goes for the release date of the actual game. Along with this news, we learned that they have begun internal testing last week. This means that most if not all systems are in the game and running. Along with this, we have been promised to get information about all remaining systems before beta so expect a lot of Diablo III updates very soon.

We want to thank everyone who came to the site to get these updates and the 3,500 live viewers who listened to the podcast today. You can expect a lot more updates in the next coming months and plenty of beta coverage here at DiabloFans and through Force Strategy Gaming. There will be a recorded version of the live podcast later today for those of you who missed it. In the mean time, you can check out the slideshow presentation they gave, and if you're actually interested, you can take a look at this quarters' numbers. If you weren't able to listen into the live DiabloCast, you can listen to the recorded version now.

As I am sure most of you know by now, today @ 1:30 PST is the day of the Activision/Blizzard financial conference call. Now, normally there is not a lot of interesting information during these calls for us DIabloFans, however, todays may be the exception. During the last conference call, DiabloWiki.com - Mike Morhaime Mike Morhaime said there would be news regarding the beta during this call.

    Official Blizzard Quote:

As for Diablo III, development continues to go well, and we’re very excited about the game. Our most recent public showcase for Diablo III was at the G-Star show in Korea, where demo stations attracted huge lines of players. I’m looking forward to sharing some more news about the game and our upcoming beta on the next call
So, with the promise of at least "news" and hopefully good news, we here at DiabloFans will be doing everything we possibly can to relay this information with you guys. We will be doing this though various avenues.

First, the actual link to the conference call for those of you who want their info direct from the source. Keep in mind, this is a conference call for investors. This is not a conference call for Blizzard or Diablo. Most of the call is business jargon for investors of Activision and Blizzard. Unless you are into that sort of stuff, you probably should avoid the call itself.
    http://investor.acti...m?eventid=96008

The second way to get your information from the call is through the Live DiabloCast. Sixen, Force, and ScyberDragon (myself) will be having a live broadcast of the podcast we normally do. We will be discussing Diablo 3 in general, answering questions from you guys (that you can submit on Force's Facebook page), and announcing any Diablo news given during this call.
    http://www.youtube.c...s/0/OzJQX1Pt3ZQ

Finally, for those of you who would just like your news right here on DiabloFans, I will be giving up to the minute updates on any news given during the call right here. The Front Page, and more specifically this post, will be used to relay any news we hear during the conference call. You can also check out our IRC to chat with other DiabloFans about any of the news given.
