I have a 256 card and it runs fine on medium settings, anything about that not so great though. But medium looks pretty good, better than I had expected at least.
That's certainly encouraging. Could you give me the exact name of your card though? I'm on a 7950 GT with 256 instead of 512.
If anyone who gets DA is running on the bare minimum hardware requirements (we're talking a 256 MB card) I'd really appreciate some insight into how it runs and what settings you wind up using. I'd hate to have to get this for the 360.
No multiplayer at all, not co-op, not anything unfortunately. There is a toolset with it though, and you never know how crafty people can get with that sort of thing. Don't bet on it though; it's meant to be entirely singleplayer.

Can someone explain to me how combat works in this game please. I watched a trailer and I am kinda confused. Looks a little to RTS like for me. I am not a big fan of having a party (unless its a co-op humans like diablo) in games, as id rather fight on my own. I see parts of this game that look awesome but overall i wish i was more enthused over it.
The combat is fairly passive if you're looking for something like Diablo. It's not technically turn based, but you do a lot of pausing and queuing up moves and the like. Even controlling just your character there's a lot of watching and less direct control of actions.
I just downloaded the beta and it looks pretty decent, I'm just having a hard time getting into it. Is anyone else on here currently playing it? I'd love to setup some practice games with someone who played DotA and actually knows what they're doing.
Diablo is a singleplayer game at it's core. Aside from thath, in multiplayer, it is a "you are awesome and you can do anything" game. I guess I don't see how giving everyone a role in mp would be coo.
I disagree; nearly every preview and interview for Diablo 3 so far has indicated that it is meant first and foremost as a cooperative multiplayer title. I don't dislike the idea of a class with strong healing abilities at all, although they would need to be implemented in a way that ensured a balanced solo game in addition to functioning as a support class
Seeing as my Xbox just broke for the 6th time, and Diablo 3 is nowhere near release, I need a good Diablo clone to suck up some of my time. I've narrowed things down between Sacred 2 and Titan Quest. Which one is better, and which one has more active multiplayer servers?
I'm almost sure that there are ways to play HL2 in single player mode using some kind of crack, anyway, I don't like HL so I never bothered in knowing that.
The fact is that its IMPOSSIBLE to avoid piracy, the best Blizzard can do is making a wonderfull Battle.net2 to make people buy the game to play online.
You can play Half-Life 2 without an internet connection by running steam in offline mode, but it requires some additional work and installation. With some games however, we aren't that lucky.
Continuing the theme of my previous thread, how do you think people would react to Blizzard placing install limits on Diablo 3? Would you refuse to buy the game if install limits were implemented?
With piracy being an enormous concern in the PC gaming industry these days, it's not unlikely that through battle.net, Blizzard might require online verification to run Diablo 3. Even though this is unlikely to cause any anger from fans of online cooperative play, in numerous other instances (like anything related to Steam and Half-Life 2 or the whole Mass Effect outburst) there have been huge protests from fans. Do you think Blizzard should include this kind of verification or not? If not, would it prevent you from buying Diablo 3?
