BUt that is not the point. They could have come up with new skills. A caster doesn't have to control the freaking elements to make some magic spell. Even less, use the same exact spells as the sorcerer...

They pretty much lied to all of us, claiming they were making new classes with new unique skills. Yet all I have seen is hybrid and rehashed chars with 2 or 3 new skills and a new name.

Did you watch the gameplay video? The Wiz looks a lot different than the sorc from D2. Sure, it has frost nova, charged bolt and chain lightning, but even those skills looked fine-tuned and different than D2's iteration of em. The Wiz was hosting a lot of cool unique skills, such as one that looked like a dome that surrounded the Wiz and slowed all enemies inside of it, the Desintegrating beam skill, not to mention one that looked like a waterfall of slime/pus that fell on baddies. This guy looks sick, and a different take on the classic "caster" class.

Mattheo_majik, #7: There has been alot of debate in the community about the bad implementation of runewords/spellbooks, what steps is Blizz going to take to prevent another 5 homogeneous "feel alike" characters in this latest installment.

Basekick, #8: How similar will the skill tree be to Diablo 2? For example, will all characters be using Mana to cast our spells? Will we be having the same progression-type skill tree as in Diablo 2? And will synergies make a return?

Decay, #12: I heard that you guys were going to drop the rune idea, but are you going to get rid of all character-created-item generation? Will we still be able to make things, only they're a lot harder to make or conversly a lot less powerful? Or will the only makable things be consumable or quest items?

Masternic, #49: Will we have an advanced stats window showing stats like:

    - Magic find
    - Increased attack speed
    - Increased spell casting speed
    - Fast Run rate
    - Fast Block rate
    - Recovery from hit speed
    ...

Basekick, #8: Are we going to see the same types of loot (i.e. normal, magical, ethereal, rare, set, unique)?

    USNSeals, #31:
In Diablo II, if you took the time to really enjoy every detail, playing it the second time around, there was a feel of 'I know what to do next. I remember this guy was here, I know I have to do this to get to this.' It didn't even take 3 or 4 completions.
How is Diablo III going to improve upon that if at all?

AcidReign, #14: Is there any interest to stop players from "rushing" others through the Acts in Diablo III? (Online)

InstantLite, #42: Are attributes returning and in what form?

Ivaron, #87: If a player feels like a change of environment, will there will an incentive to go back to previous acts or parts in the story and find new content unlocked there?

Basekick, #8: Is item trading going to be improved upon? Will there be "market" games, in which players can set up a shop to display their items, and browse other shops?
