    Is Manajuma's way beneficial in any way for burst aoe and speed farming. 500% and a seperate 100% multipler on top of the base 1350% weapon damage if you go poison. I do like the additive damage on the Spider queen dagger for spider spam though.

    posted a message on 2.3 Help with Bombardment Builds

    Didn't get a chance to get on the PTR yet, but since belt of the troved came out I've been obsessed with finding a way to run bombardment without flopping. I've considered hexing cube with rolands in a moving condem or pet build, full cdr with heavens fury, rolands pound shield bash with it as aoe. Generally since you can cube the mortal drama on either a maximum, furnace, blade of prophecy (probably less useful with condem) or any strong 2 hander, perhaps bombardment has some uses. As a flat aoe increase for just a belt slot it's great, but unless you get some damage boosts in likes of FnR it see problems with it. I've considered a fist of the heavens build or blessed shield with blessed shield free spam weapon but seam lacking. Both lack damage, and while FoTH spam with akkans is doable, the damage seams very mediocre.


    Atm Rolands Pound shield bash w/ FnR looks the most promising since it has the least conflicting gear, allows use of FnR, Allows furnace to be used with the mortal drama (use the higher damage of the 2), adds passive damage while shield bash spamming, rolands attack speed is a huge boost to bowmen break points and helps with aoe. It's sad the attack speed isn't transferred to bombardment directly, but bowmen pound seam like a rift guardians nightmare, I just worry if it really brings enough aoe Punch. It's nice ensuring you get the bracer bonus to shield bash even in crouds, but i'm still hopeful yet skeptical. Would this be an improvement in any matter besides single target dps over the fire shield bash build?


    The new hammer-adin set loots semi promising, however element conflictions, you'd either use icebound hammer without elemental damage (saddly convention doesn't roll cold) or choose between fire or holy runes to match bombardment. Another problem, the hammer-adin set is pretty much a 10 piece set (the falling sword belt is luckily bad though since FS animation sucks and requires the use of judgement). With so much gear needed to run hammers, you're essentially forced to rely on hammers.


    So the heavy reliance of another primary damage source as the main output with bombardment augmenting the build seams to be the biggest problem to overcome atm, since it seams not to provide enough on it's on. The last potential build for it would be MASSIVE CDR on all gear slots to bring the cool down of bombardment to around 10 seconds, however devoting so much of your gear to just CDR might not provide enough damage and lack defense. Running only heavens fury, bombardment and perhaps Falling sword just might not be enough. Running 4 piece Seeker of light might feel wasteful as you might be better off running 6 piece of the super buffed hammers. Perhaps full cdr Seeker of light hammers might have a place, but I'm skeptical it can compete with strait up hammer focused builds. FnR would likely have to be dropped to make room for stone of jordan since furnace will be replaced by the new blessed hammer mace in a 6 piece seeker build.


    Any thoughts, ideas, advise or help making bombardment usable above gr 40 or to it's maximum potential would be great.
