My bags on WoW get filled up so quickly its not funny... and i have like 88 slots, mind you, about 36 slots are full with pots and different gear(im a warrior so i always carry around my tank gear, comes in handy mind u lol)
But i think the thing that most people don't like about the inventory of D3 at present, is the small item sizes, compared to D1 and D2 which had big pics for each item.
Now the pain with having the big pics is the room they took up in the tetris style inventory so you couldn't carry that many different items. But, the player got to see what the item kinda looked like before they equipped it.
One thing that always made me laugh was when people on the WoW forums would say, "Hell, im carrying around, a horse, a ridable cat, an elk, a huge netherdrake, a ridable black cat and this is all in my bags, i mean wtf? How big are these bags anyway, cause im carrying around a backpack and 4 additional bags, they can't be that big, cause i wouldn't be able to move."
lol that is hilarious the whole mount thing haha.... Yeah bags will alway get filled up fast no matter how big they are...... and Diablos game style with the huge mobs just makes them fill up even faster!
Yeah i noticed the whole sholder pad thing im pretty excited because Your character seems to be a bit more customizable which will be more fun.... and that always just adds to the game experience.
I definately like the NPC idea, perhaps to make it more interesting he/she should be someone you unlock through a quest that travels with you from town to town like Cain in Act 1 of D2. If this is the case you would have to be able to use the NPC to trade between single player characters though, unless the NPC comes with other functions or rewards - perhaps a traveling Gheed or a Jewerly/Rune/Gem merchant.
But you could use the NPC like a safety deposit box/shared storage where you simply enter you account name and a password to leave/pickup items. Almost like you are using the NPC's stash. But to help keep people away from using it to make money by selling ingame items there should be a gold fee for the in and out.
Yeah that would make it fit into the game pretty well actually nice idea!
Is there any reason for this personal attack? Or do you just need to e-rage through the anonymity of the internet to make of for a lack of certain things in life? Maybe New generation Forum-Troll would be better? For that is all you are doing.
I think this is a legitimate question whether accounts will last past 90 days.
Thank you for putting him in his place he really did need that lol...what a dick!
My point being I didn't see how that part would fit in the game, however the NPC idea doing it for a fee is a great idea. We all, well must of us, agree that the system needs to be changed.
Yeah haha i see what your saying and yes i do believe it needs to be changed!
I agree the best and most effective way was to have a separate shared stash that all of your characters on that account could have access to. Now how to implement that idea whether to initially pay to have access to the stash, or charge a 1 time fee to store is fine.
I am not totally against the 2nd option as the NPC's have a big role in the Diablo series, just not sure how you would retrieve the item.
Yeah my idea with the whole NPC thing was for them to have like a little pick up station or kind of like a mail box thing... that you could go to and if you had any items you sent you could pick them up there....I think the whole post thing should only be in like one town in the whole game.
In terms of D3 mutlitplayer, I think that it should be a lot like D2s multiplayer, except for there should be an in game chat, where you can still access general chat while in multiplayer, and there should be some sort of portal where you can change to another persons game relatively easy. Also I think there should be a universal auction house throughout the realm
Yeah those are some good ideas!
But on the note of your auction house idea. In D2 gold really had no value it was more based on items and runes. It was hard to be able to buy any good weapons with just gold.
So if D3 had more of a gold value then in D2 then yes i believe that would be a very good idea.
i want it to look like an mmo, but maybe what you could pay for is priority if the server is full. i.e.:
for a free player
Server USEast is full. Your position in line-12
and for a paying player
Server USEast is full. Please refrain from going afk while on the server. Have fun!
note: i am thoroughly against p2p rpgs. but if it comes down to monthly fees, i hope this is what it comes to.
Ha yes i see what you are saying P2P MMO's can get very annoying sometimes with some of the annoying people out there...but yeah what you said is a pretty good idea if it were to come down to that for sure.

Glad to help, it was in one of the videos, I will look for it and see if I can post it for you.
In one of the interviews the developers stated that the game and programming could allow a lot of players in a game, but they have found after playing that it is more fun with 4-6 players which is what they will focus on. But no concrete number has been set in stone.
Alright sweet that makes me feel better i loved having the small number it was fun for doing private runs and stuff. Thanks for the info i could not find anything on the subject haha....
