My interpretation of "To defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells – And even the failing luminaries of the High Heavens itself." means that one of you is going to have to fight Tyrael when he tries to turn Sanctuary into a battleground or when he decides that rather than lose the whole planet to hell, he would try to destroy it instead.
